Just trying to do the right thing. Anyone know what that is? Cause I sure as hell don't. I'm trying. But every decision is met with 1000 questions. Biggest one being: Is this the right decision?
And my answer is always: I. DON'T. KNOW.
Go away Covid. I want my studio back.

Youâre texting me over holiday break to discuss a rumor you heard? 1. I donât care. 2. Who gave you my cell number? Theyâre fired. #dancemomsarecrazy #studioownerproblems

Next time one of my clients is annoying me with their unnecessary bullshit, Iâm gunna whip out a photo of me from three years ago and just be like âDO YOU SEE WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO MY UNDER EYES BAGS SINCE I BOUGHT THIS STUDIO?! PLEASE REFRAIN FROM YOUR BULLSHITâ âđŒ

If thereâs one thing Iâve learned this year itâs you canât make lazy people try and you canât make any one care who doesnât. They either do or they donât itâs really that simple and nothing personal.

It is not my problem you canât âaffordâ the classes your daughter chose to be in this season. Donât make me feel guilty either. My time is not free. Neither was my college tuition.

I just donât think that a child who wants to be a competitive dancer should be missing class to do other recreational sports. If they want to do 5 sports then they should be in the recreational level. Competition takes a whole other level of dedication. Itâs not just âfor funâ.

Listen I have an open door policy. Any child can come take any one of my classes no questions asked. But I will NEVER beg you to come to my studio. If you want better training feel free to drop by, if not then donât. Hunny it doesnât bother me either way.

Dance Mom: Can you change part of the dance? My daughter says itâs too hard and she doesnât like it. Isnât there some alternative choreography you could use?

I think sometimes our students/clients forget that I actually have real feelings and emotions and am genuinely effected by the negative things they sometimes say in a moment of passion. Words hurt and they carry weight and meaning. Remember that before you use them as weapons.

Things I have done for your kid over the years:
Given her rides to rehearsal
Braided her hair for Comps
Attended her birthday parties
Given her a beautiful solo
Praised her
Wiped tears from her cheeks
Cheered at the top of my lungs for her

One of my biggest annoyances in dance studio ownership besides book keeping is costume returns like I would legit hire someone to do this and itâd be worth every $$$...

2019 is the year weâre gonna stretch every day, cross-train like hell, go harder in class, get that role, get that trophy, crush that audition, get accepted into that school, take care of our bodies, love ourselves and become the best dancers we can. â€ïž #HappyNewYears
