Seems @GaryPayinda who is running for Labour in Whangarei .. Clean forgot about the wayback machine when he cleaned his twitter account ... So a doctor who implied that unvaccinated or those who spoke out should drown ? Medical Council ? Health and disability commission ?

Oops looks like Mr Hipkins should have got more than a pinky promise from his candidate that she wasn’t campaigning with the Mongrel Mob.

Labour is still married to the Mob. Chris Hipkins must answer questions about Labour’s cosy relationship with gangs after one of his own candidates refused to back his attempt to rule out the Greens and Te Pāti Māori from Police and Corrections portfolios in a Labour-led coalition. Chris Hipkins can try to talk tough, but Labour’s record on gangs tells a very different story. In a debate last night, Labour’s Tāmaki Makaurau candidate Kerrin Leoni wouldn’t back her leader’s attempt to keep the Greens and Te Pāti Māori away from Police and Corrections. Following the same debate, questions are now being raised about whether Kerrin Leoni has not been truthful about visiting a gang pad. The official statement from the Labour Party responding to speculation about Kerrin Leoni visiting a gang pad said she hadn’t done so ‘the week prior’. But has she visited a gang pad or met with gangs at any other time as a Labour candidate? In government, Labour funnelled millions of taxpayer dollars to the Mongrel Mob to ‘help’ get people off the drugs that the gang itself was selling to people. Chris Hipkins gave gang bosses special treatment to cross the borders imposed in Auckland during the Covid-19 lockdowns, while hardworking Aucklanders were told they couldn’t say goodbye to their dying loved ones. Willie Jackson invited gang members into his ministerial office. Labour voted against National’s gang patch ban. This all shows just how deep Labour’s soft spot for gangs runs. From the top of the party down to its candidates, Labour keeps showing New Zealanders it is far too close to the gangs. Labour has yet to release a single law and order policy this campaign. Instead, New Zealanders are left wondering which of National’s gang laws Labour would unwind to appease the gangs and activists it depends on for support. If Labour’s own candidates won’t back Chris Hipkins on gangs, New Zealanders can’t trust Labour to stand up to them.

Labour candidate Kerrin Leoni was accused of visiting the same gang pad as two MPs last night. A video has emerged that shows it was not the same gang pad - but Leoni was at a Mongrel Mob event earlier this month. She says the event was put on by members of her family.

Impeccable timing. This is what happened the last time Chris Hipkins and Labour were in power — courtesy of the Sensible Sentencing Trust.

#BREAKING - New video shows Labour campaigning with the Mongrel Mob to win gang votes. Every step National has taken to crack down on crime and gangs would be at risk under a Labour government. Labour has made its choice. It is standing with the Mongrel Mob, not with the New Zealanders who simply want to feel safe in their own communities, and with those who are victims of crime. Share this far and wide so every Kiwi sees what's at stake this election.

Horrible optics for Labour. This is more than just attending a whānau function. Soliciting votes, wearing branded gear at a Mongrel Mob event.

Bye bye Hipkins
Chris Hipkins once again claims “cabinet amnesia” right before his own exact words defending the non-cancellation of gang programme funding are repeated back to him…..then says he needs to go check the quote for context. Come on.

Fact checking Hipkins’ claim that I’ve refused to meet with Ginny Andersen. July diary release: Ginny Andersen Thursday 23 July 2026 at 3.30pm Fact: It took 1 text and 3 emails from my office to Willow Jean Prime and Chris Hipkins to get a final reply saying she declined my invitation to meet. Hipkins is trying to re-write history with complete lies and has no idea what his own MPs are up to.
