A list of all the ships currently detained by regulators across European port state authorities (according to Paris MoU). P&O’s “European Causeway” is the only passenger ship that has been seized. The others are cargo vessels and tugs.

P&O is in trouble. It is very unusual for a ship to be detained. For a ferry, almost unheard of. According to Paris MoU - a database of inspections - 5 passenger ships have been detained in total in the last year. That's across all of Europe. None of them in the UK.
