Write down the observation window and trade window you are using, along with the chart time frame. A pattern read without its time context can leave out part of the plan.

After marking a dealing range, describe the retracement and the next delivery change you need. In the New Delivery example, the range supplied context; a precise short still needed a later change in delivery.

Will add more, just let me know what you need. Can reverse engineer almost anything these days.
Name the leg your plan is about. A retracement can contain smaller moves in the other direction. Before using a lower time frame pattern, check which part of the larger move you are trying to trade.
When comparing fair value gaps, inspect the last candle body as well as its wick. In the course example, failure to close above the nearby high mattered to the reading. The rectangle alone did not tell the story.
A strong move away can be part of an order-block discussion, but it does not establish the block by itself. Check the liquidity event, the candle or cluster involved, and how it fits the broader plan.

Write your entry requirements in a form you can use while price is moving. A long list of chart observations still needs a clear decision: what must happen before you take the trade?
