Everyone is quick to condemn Saudi Arabia when it carries out a punishment prescribed by its laws, but how many are willing to discuss the crimes, the victims, and the Islamic principles behind the ruling?
You don't have to agree with every decision a government makes to acknowledge that Islamic law deserves to be understood on its own terms, not judged solely through Western sensibilities.
The question is: are they seeking justice, or are they simply following the outrage of the crowd?
perhaps I'm just not a good person, abi it tracks that punishment of zina in a shariah abiding country, and on top of that in a place that's held to great sanctity??
because I don't get all the mouth foaming wallah, it's really funny, or perhaps it's because of the beheading that people are all so sensitive about? would it be better by death by firing squad or hanging, maybe it would make the death any less than what it is - death.
