ALT Most sports bills force schools to designate teams by their sex assigned at birth. They are often one-sided and ban trans girls from playing on teams consistent with their gender identity. Some egregious bills even force invasive genital examinations on student athletes. North Carolina H574 is on the calendar for next Wednesday for a veto override vote in the House.

ALT “TFP Summer Schedule” is in dark blue on a light blue background at the top. Below, pink wavy lines separate the title from a dark blue background and the schedule. In white, it reads: “We're reducing our posting frequency due to legislative sessions closing! We will be changing TikTok posts and Twitch streams from 5x a week to 3x a week; Good news on Monday, spotlight on Wednesday, and "Week in Review" on Friday. We will be taking a Twitch hiatus from July 26th to August 7th. Tune in again in August! On our other platforms, the Daily Thread is now "Week in Review" on Fridays,” followed by the TFP logo.

ALT “As legislative sessions end in the U.S., anti-trans bills are no longer passing. But litigations involving LGBTQ+ rights are still emerging. Find out more here.” The background is dark blue with a faint image of a gavel. The title is in a red box.

ALT “Emma Cole v. Caylee Noggle, Georgia. Four families in Georgia have sued to stop SB 140 from taking effect this month. The bill removes parents’ right to make medical decisions for their children. The plaintiffs ask the government not to involve itself in personal matters like these. A detail to note is that GA SB 140 blocks access to hormone therapy, though not puberty blockers. This case is incredibly recent, having only been filed on June 29th, and has a long way to go.” The title is white in a red box on a dark blue background. The body text section is on a light blue background.

ALT “K.C. v. Medical Licensing Board of Indiana. Four Indiana families have challenged SB 480, which created penalties for providing or referring for gender-affirming care for those under 18. The suit alleges that the bill violates many parts of the U.S. Constitution as well as the Medicaid and Affordable Care Acts. The District Court issued a preliminary injunction on June 16th and enjoined the bill's prohibitions on gender-affirming treatments for trans youth.” The design is the same as the previous slide.

ALT A dark blue background titled “How you can help” with lighter blue wavy lines framing the bottom left and top right corners. Below the title are six bubbles in the trans flag colors reading “donate,” “shop our store,” “contact your legislators,” “share our posts,” “volunteer with us,” and “find an event near you.”

ALT “Good News! North Carolina Democratic Governor Roy Cooper vetoed North Carolina's ban on gender-affirming healthcare for minors, its standard anti-trans sports ban, and its standard model “don’t say gay or trans” classroom bill. While state Republicans have very narrow veto-proof majorities in both chambers of the legislature, the fact that Governor Cooper took a stand by vetoing these bills is a necessary signal of ally-ship to queer and trans folk.” Dark blue background with a lighter blue box under the body text. The text is all in white and there is a pink check mark under the title.
