Strange, the apostles preached salvation through Christ without ever telling anyone to cultivate devotion to Mary.

If you used Scripture and private judgment to decide Rome is true, you used a Protestant principle to become Catholic—then abandoned the principle that got you there.

Romans 4 is devastatingly clear: God justifies the ungodly. Christ is received by faith. Works follow salvation; they do not purchase it.

Evangelicals and Roman Catholics have two different sets of doctrines. Some Roman Catholics say we should judge between them based on which ones have greater miracles associated with them. They point to their Marian Apparitions, which affirm their doctrines.
But look at what their own Catechism says:
"...there have been so-called 'private' revelations, some of which have been recognized by the authority of the Church. They do not belong, however, to the deposit of faith. It is not their role to improve or complete Christ's definitive Revelation.... Christian faith cannot accept 'revelations' that claim to surpass or correct the Revelation of which Christ is the fulfillment...."
In other words, apparitions do not trump God's word. As Evangelicals, we heartily agree. Test the claims of the apparitions by Scripture, not the other way around!

The most important question in life: How can a guilty sinner stand righteous before a holy God?
The sacerdotal system of Roman Catholicism essentially keeps the Holy Spirit "on tap."
How incredibly degrading to God.
"A joyful heart makes a face cheerful, but a sad heart produces a broken spirit" (Proverbs 15:13).
Being happy is a choice, not something you just passively receive! So how can you make your heart joyful?
Answer: by watching, reading, and listening to good things. Spend time in the word and on books and podcasts that teach and celebrate truth.
"Bright eyes cheer the heart; good news strengthens the bones" (Proverbs 15:30).
