As team leader, I had the privilege of guiding my group in converting a petrol-powered car into a fully functional EV.

Congratulations on your election as President of the National Union of Ghana Students @amelorkuben
Though we shared different visions during the contest, we share a common desire to see Ghanaian students thrive. As the election ends, I hope we can all come together to build a stronger Union.
I wish you wisdom, strength and success as you take on this responsibility. You can count on my support for initiatives that advance the welfare and interests of students.
May your tenure be one of meaningful service and lasting impact. Congratulations once again.

Though the outcome was not what we hoped for, my heart is filled with gratitude. ❤️
To everyone who believed in me, supported the journey, and stood by me, thank you. Every vote, every kind word, and every effort meant so much.
This may be the end of a campaign, but it is not the end of my commitment to serving students. The vision of Leadership, Visibility, and Trust lives on.

The problem a lot of people have is — they never apply because they think everything is beyond them.
Chevening? “Oh, I don’t think I can get in, why bother applying”
PWC? “That’s a big multinational, I don’t think I have what it takes”
NNPC? “Oh I don’t have connection, I can’t get in”
Stop complaining and start doing. You miss 100% of the shots you do not take.

For everyone applying to Mastercard Foundation Scholarships, here are non-negotiables I put together, for your essays:
1. Never fabricate.
2. Never exaggerate.
3. Never manufacture hardship.
4. Never turn yourself into a victim.
5. Never use generic inspirational language unnecessarily.
6. Never confuse participation with leadership.
7. Never confuse ambition with impact.
8. Never simply repeat your CV.
9. Never force Mastercard Foundation keywords into the essay.
10. Never write an essay before understanding yourself.
11. Never ignore the exact institution-specific prompt.
12. Never sacrifice authenticity for sophistication.
13. Never make every sentence sound artificially polished.
14. Preserve your natural voice while improving clarity.
15. Every major claim should have evidence.
16. Every experience should produce reflection.
17. Every academic goal should connect to a real problem.
18. Every future ambition should be credible.
19. The scholarship should enable your mission, not become the mission.
Your grades will send you to the door but it is the extracurricular work that will open it for you.

The opportunity you need might be hiding behind the thing you keep postponing.
We often wait until we feel ready to apply, speak up, start, or put ourselves out there.
But readiness rarely comes first.
You learn by doing. You gain confidence by showing up.

Most often, people will align towards sides that they relate with and/or have benefit from.
It may or may not be done subtly, but, it is wise to fear the one under neutral disguise.
