Team USA is about to miss bracket play. Bryce Harperâs dad and Alex Bregmanâs dads are in the parking lot forming a new team since their kids are on the bench tonight.

See a âSports Parentâ sitting alone?
There is a reason.
- No drama.
- No negativity.
- No ignorance.
- No complaining.
- No badmouthing coaches or refs.
They just want to enjoy watching their child play.

Drake Baldwin, 2025 National League Rookie of the Year. Notice heâs wearing the C in this photo sent to me by Brad Byce, his youth hockey coach. When you draft high-character people who are multi-sport athletes, great things can happen. âŠ@MLBNetworkâ© âŠ@NHLMediaâ©

I have defended Schneider tooth and nail and think heâs done fine up to this point but going to Brendon Little will over shadow every single move heâs made and unfortunately it makes me sick that we went to this fukin guy out of the pen.
Inexcusable. Pathetic. Embarrassing.

Every baseball player develops at a different age! Just because youâre great at 12 years old on the small field, doesnât mean youâll be that great at 17/18. Iâll leave it at that!
Hey, @grok, who was the most famous person to visit my profile this year? It doesn't need to be a mutual, don't tag them, just say who it was

Found this in my notes from 2020:
High school baseball players with hopes of playing in college, here are some things you NEED to hear and if youâre upset by this in any way you need to humble yourself very quickly. Trust me Iâm trying to help you.
1.take your jewelry off. Your chain doesnât look cool, your earrings donât make you look cool. You know whatâs cool? NOT being a hey look at me guy. Let your game talk. Once you hit 30 homers in the big leagues, buy a chain. Until then, stay humble.
2.Stop pouting and looking at your coach if the umpire makes a questionable call. The umpire didnât make you foul off the good pitch to hit you just missed the pitch before. Show some damn toughness.
3.The easiest way to keep you on the bench is for you to pout and not be encouraging your teammates success. Hoping somebody fails so you look better is for losers.
4.You better hit .400 if youâve got more gear than a big leaguer up there with an elbow guard and shin guard and every gadget in the world to look important. Maybe get stronger and I promise the 72mph fastball youâre protecting yourself from isnât going to kill you.
5.If youâre an infielder and you canât make 9/10 routine plays, you better get two hits a game. If you canât do either, you canât play. If you canât reach first base from whatever position you play, you donât have a position.
6.If youâre an outfielder and you canât catch a fly ball OR hit a cutoff man, you canât play
7.If you donât know how many outs there are you canât play.
8.If you donât know what the signs are, you canât play.
9.If you know youâre not the fastest kid on the team and you get the steal sign, you better know how to get an aggressive primary lead AND how to get good jumps or you guessed it, you canât play.
10.If you have an answer for everything because you know more than your coach, then you can sit right beside him and watch the game while the players that are coachable get a chance to play.
11.If youâre a pitcher and you think you have three pitches but can only throw one of them over the plate, you only have one pitch. Pitchers with one pitch are pretty predictable. If you canât throw two pitches for a strike, youâre not a pitcher.
12.If you canât diagnose and apply in-game adjustments you canât play.
13.Being good on the field is cooler than pretending youre good on the internet.
14.If you havenât seen the weight room in a month and canât bench your own body weight, stop talking about college baseball. You donât take it serious enough to make the necessary commitment to play at that level.
15.If youâre walking back to the dugout after your second K telling everybody that the pitcher sucks youâre worried about the wrong guy and you canât play.
16.If youâre on the bench and talking about anything OTHER than the game and how to help your teammates you canât play.

This is what happens when hardcore fans are priced out of the building. Leafs Nation is absurdly passionate - but many of them will never see the inside of Scotiabank Arena. #leafsforever

Customer service has never been worse in history and yet there have never been more customer service employees demanding tips. Everyone sucks at their job and they all want to be rewarded for it. Strange times.
