@ESYudkowsky you're on point here, the real danger in AGI introduction is the rate of change, not the change itself.
Most people think "No AI can do all of my tasks", where one should think "With AI doing 50% of the tasks, we need 50% less employees".
While I totally agree with you, the implications may be exactly the same regardless of the method it learns.
Well, any large business will bring money to the owners. I suspect the problem in AEC is the lack of value in IP, hence the profits overall ain't great compared with other industries.
