Medical debt is a national problem, but for marginalized communities who have chronic disease diagnoses, it's exponential! This is why #the652projectfoundation is working w/our National Partners @adapadvocacy & others to bring the 340B program back to centering patients!!

mad respect for @maddow for standing up for #decency #respect & #equity at work. #resistance has been a fabric in this country b/c she hasn't always lived up to her ideals. today more than ever, it just can't be our gov't we stand up to when things aren't right! #the652project

That moment you awaken from an active dream speaking & laughing incredibly hard w/ @POTUS @JoyAnnReid & @HRC_President in the conversation w/you about the #NWGHAAD2024 event you're hosting centering the topic Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare in #Alabama. What a day this will be!

This journey began on the 14th day of the first month in 1976 at 6:52 am. Who knew the number 14 would have such significance in not just my birth but my continued chance at living? You see this day, yes, November 2, 2009, I was told I wouldn't live another 14th of my years...

and I beat the odds once more! My journey to this 14th began anew when I began living once more after learning of my HIV/AIDS diagnosis. Who knew this day would begin a career never dreamed for a young, preaching, black boy from a rural town in Alabama? I, for one, didn't!
