Steal An Egg has saved Roblox?
For months, weekend peaks were nowhere near what we’re seeing now. Steal An Egg has been receiving weekly updates, consistently reaching more and more CCUs, and Roblox has started seeing massive weekend spikes again.
The game has been pulling millions of CCUs, with today’s peak reaching 13M+ players.

We have designated ChatGPT as a Very Large Online Search Engine and Reddit and Roblox as Very Large Online Platforms under the Digital Services Act.
They now have four months to comply with additional DSA obligations.

Yeah, but *I think* they’re doing this to observe the game for moderation reasons, get to the 250 required users faster and lower user acquisition costs through the ad system
Roblox players have been reporting that PAID ads may be resulting in BOTS playing their game
These reports are unconfirmed, but many users have been sharing their experience with these suspicious players
It’s reported these players can’t even move around the map, let alone play a sustained session for a couple minutes
To me it sounds eerily similar to Roblox’s built in path finding system that I have used to build NPCs for one of my games and it would always get stuck
In the past I always saw these avatars and assumed they’re just players who can’t afford any items- but if true this is way more nefarious
There’s also a pretty good chance that these are mobile players attempting to play a non-mobile optimized game, and not bots at all…

Why put 10% focus on a game thats making $40k/mo? That’s already great income, the first thought should be how to scale that instead of how do i make another one, because that can lead you to a rabbit hole and maybe cause you to end up losing the $40k/mo bc of lost focus!
I went to the OS I made in 2016 and added browser support using editable images and a local server. You can now go on youtube in a roblox game

Blaming your creators for lack of new viral games for this is wild. It’s like me blaming my players on a failed game because they didn’t like it. You control the algorithm and change signals constantly, we as developers are forced to make games that hit the agenda you force on us.
Roblox has lost around $70 billion in value over the past year, with its stock price down 70%
The company blamed a lack of new viral games after disappointing earnings
Now it makes sense why they were nice about increasing devex for only us 🤣
This and increasing devex for r15 only is a form of ethnic cleansing 😭
Starting July 14th, Roblox will be reducing what creators earn from 2D items, from 70% to 30%. If sold in-game, the game developer will earn 40% and the creator will still earn 30%.
In addition, to upload either 2D or 3D items, you need to pay 200 Robux and be ID verified (or have a linked parent account). To upload, you will need an active Plus/Premium membership and pay a publishing advance, starting at 600 Robux. Totaling to 800 Robux, minimum, per item.
