while i generally dislike the relationship star wars fans have with the property, it’s admirable i guess that they’ve managed to commute lucas’ love of uncomfortable stereotyping into just enjoying “strange little guys”
at a certain point, i guess what i'm saying is, seeing this makes it feel like not a very serious interest, the tv critic.
this maybe scans as pretentious, but completely honestly i just find this list to be pretty boring! i can't think of anything missing from it per se, so the inclusions of truly terrible/middling television is not something i even balk at. like what else would go there.
idk if this is a stupid question, do other countries not make tv shows that are good. i enjoy many non-english films, is there Spanish Mad Men? as it stands, this mostly just feels like a list of every tv show ive ever heard of, so, kind of a useless exercise.

like, when sight and sound put out their top films of all time, it does actually include films not made in the united states. is this not true of television, or do serious tv critics just not watch non-english television. is it just too time consuming.
a lot of people when they say "woke 1" seem to just mean "when college was still a relevant part of my life"
