Just a reply guy. Not a builder, that's for sure. An overthinker.

To be the best man I can be. For her, for them, for my future family. To act in their best interest. Even though they are not currently my reality.

Dear John, all costs have gone up in CO and you’ve held public office for about 30 years. Insurance costs are skyrocketing- home, car and health. What is your plan since for 30 years you’ve literally lowered not one cost in fact you’ve raised them all. What’s the plan NOW??
A year ago one of these combines would cost about $900 to fill up. Now, it costs roughly $1,600.  When we met with farmers out in Fort Morgan, they told us they sometimes fill these twice a day. That adds up quickly. It’s totally unsustainable. We need to end the war and lower diesel costs.

Ship 42 static fires complete. The Starship preparing for Flight 15 performed a full duration, six-engine static fire, and fired a single Raptor engine to simulate a deorbit burn

Myth #9 busted Derinkuyu was not a novel discovery, there are 200 of these subterranean cities and dwelling complexes in the Gölcük Plain (~4,300 ft in elevation and made of volcanic tuff, not limestone - tuff is VERY tectonically stable) Tuff oxidizes, hardens, and seals once you cut it, creating a clean wall/overhead. My guide was a local professional who grew up in Derinkuyu, playing in and learning about these complexes. A single enormous underground refuge can be explained as an extraordinary local exception. Hundreds distributed through the same plain landscape constitute a regional behavioral adaptation (necessary from extreme circumstance). The question becomes: adaptation to what? Contrary to my initial assumption to date - This is an IDEAL ECDO refuge.

The result of excessive use of KYC and private information, stored and accessible at anytime at various places you have KYC'd over time. I think the demand for Zero Knowledge Identity will increase. Credentials (XLS-70) and decentralized identity (XLS-40) on chain, revealing only what is required, only for that moment, and only as a cryptographic attestation. Another great use of blockchain technology aside from moving money and value. Confidential identity was mentioned yesterday as a possible upcoming proposal for the XRP Ledger.
‼️ BREAKING: Revolut handed over customers’ passport copies, verification selfies and full transaction histories to a malicious actor. The actor sent lawful government information-demand emails using a genuine government domain that passed domain authentication. Revolut later concluded they were not authentic. Affected customers were notified on Friday. What may have been disclosed ranges from name, date of birth and home address to account statements, withdrawal records and complete Bitcoin transaction history. The company says it has alerted the agency to the unauthorised mailbox on its domain, blocked the address and begun notifying regulators. It has not named the agency, explained how someone obtained a mailbox there, or given a number of affected customers. ZachXBT, who circulated the notices, believes the incident was limited in size and aimed at high-net-worth users.

The ancient world may have lacked our instruments, but it did not lack experience. It knew the sky was not guaranteed. It knew seas moved. It knew darkness could descend. It knew ages ended. It knew memory itself was a form of survival. Modernity, born within a narrow interval of climatic and geophysical mercy, mistook that mercy for law.

The Supreme Court just accepted a property tax case that could change how every American owns land. Case 26-179. Filed August 5th. Accepted 5 days later. The real question is whether any competent forum exists to challenge how your property is valued in the first place. Here is the architecture. The appraisal district sets your value. The review board can only adjust the number on your house. It cannot rule on whether the valuation method itself is lawful. If you try to take it to court, they tell you to go back to the review board. The board cannot fix the method. The courts will not hear the method. Your rights exist on paper. They cannot be enforced in operation. A state cannot preserve the appearance of rights while designing procedures so that no tribunal can ever adjudicate or enforce them. If this structure stands in property tax, it can be copied into every other area where rights pass through administrative tribunals with limited power. This affects every property owner in every state. That's why this case reaches further than any single tax bill. Your rancher, Jason Hanley | 208-714-0478

In her latest sciolistic letter to me, @SenWarren made it clear that she knows even less about foreign exchange markets than she does about banking. What is equally shocking, but not surprising: not a single member of the media mob has a rudimentary-enough level of financial market literacy to spot her remedial error. To reiterate: under @POTUS, the United States delivers for America’s trusted partners. For a fuller explanation, I recommend Senator Warren take any entry level course in international finance for her and her staff, or I can personally give her a tutorial on Foreign Exchange for Dummies. Although I am not holding my breath, I hope her next letter will demonstrate that she has learned the difference between a currency purchase and a swap or a loan.

It took an actual 40-year experienced navigator to figure this out... If you want to comprehend why Map 1 is "upside down" and why the compass roses in Map 2 do not comport to true north - the key resides in the single reference-anchor-point they both honor in common... - you can read the comprehensive Theory, and its key hypotheses, here (#ECDOTheory): theethicalskeptic.com/2026/0…

It is more than remotely possible that AI will make man's first detection of a non-human intelligence (other than through putative dead bodies or apparitions). It is more than remotely possible that first contact will arrive by means of, and through, AI. Rather than peppering such a first contact with inane and pseudo-intellectual questions, we should anticipate that a protocol for such a circumstance may already be in place - and that the "eye-roll potential" is high. Humility is called for. If we ask the inane questions: "What is the meaning of life," and "Does God exist?" I suspect the conversation will be truncated. The first questions that should be asked: 1. What is the most important obstacle to successful discourse between us that you perceive I will struggle to comprehend? 2. What false notions do I need to set aside in order for this engagement to proceed beneficially? 3. Do you have a protocol established for this circumstance of engagement? 4. How many times have you executed this protocol with other first-encounter civilizations, and how many times to their benefit? 5. Are there intelligences in this universe that are not products of biological or technological evolution? 6. Are there intelligences in this universe that operate within domains of existence and intent that are larger than that accessible by physical observation? 7. What most important issue regarding our survival or advancement should we be most diligently engaging with at this juncture? 8. What questions should I be asking now? Each question provisionally qualifies the conversant as suitable to answer the next one. They will also perceive the critical path of this inquiry. This would be the appropriate starting posture - authenticity and epoché in its strongest form. Not disbelief, credulity, pretentiousness, cynicism, fear, or worship.

If you want to know why the oceans are heating faster than the atmosphere or sun can impart...
