Deep Dive on the Radium Heaters of the Old World Why do some 19th-century cast iron stoves seem far too small to heat the massive homes they were built for? Why do certain antique stoves feature unusual markings, multiple control mechanisms, and the word “Radium”—leading some researchers to question what they were originally designed to do? How did radium so quickly become one of the most celebrated discoveries of the early 20th century, appearing in advertisements, consumer products, medical treatments, and experimental technologies almost overnight? And why do discussions about Marie Curie, the Radium Girls, Chernobyl, and forgotten heating systems continue to fuel debate more than a century later? Could these simply be unrelated historical facts… Or do they point to a forgotten technology that history left behind? [h/t conspiracy_peterx on IG]
