This is what WB spent to send out a piece of cardboard to promote Barbie. No DVD screener, just cardboard with a code they had already emailed. INSANE! They spend more on postage than they do paying their writers. #screenwriting
Sorry about that. Here it is again with alt text.
ALT Handwritten letter, reads: Dear writer on strike,You are my hero. You are the bravest, strongest, most powerful person, standing arm in arm with hundreds of other heroes, just as brave and strong. You are fighting for the soul of the written word itself. I can imagine no finer warrior than you. Everyore who someday dreams of telling a story sees you, and they're rooting for you.Stay strong and keep telling this story, because it matters so much to everyone. Thank you far being a part of it - I salute you!
A young writer at the Young Writers Picket handed this out to a few WGA members. Katie, I don’t know who you are, but thank you! Your words have given us a boost of fire and I hope every member sees this. This is why we fight. You are our future. #WGAStrong
