If the rent is Rs.80,000 monthly, then Rs.80,000 x 12 = Rs.9,60,000.
If the property price is 2.4 cr, then divide annual rent by property price and multiply by 100: Rs.9,60,000 ÷ Rs.2,40,000,000 x 100 = 4%.
If this figure is between 2.5% to 3.5% then property is nice. If it is more than 3.5% then property prices are cheap.
If it is below 2.5% then you are buying it on higher prices.
This formula is to buy a home. For commercial property this figure shouldn't go below 5.5%.

BREAKING: Mass Shooting Plot Targeting Sri Venkateswara Temple in Aurora, Illinois, Foiled
A 19-year-old suspected white supremacist, Alexandros Paporakis, has been arrested for allegedly plotting a mass shooting at a Hindu place of worship in Aurora, Illinois.
Investigators say the suspect had been planning the attack for two years and allegedly targeted Indians and South Asians.
Police recovered an AR-style rifle, ammunition and tactical gear.
A potentially devastating hate-driven attack may have been prevented.
Paporakis worked as a cashier at a Taco Bell in Arlington Heights for nearly seven months.
According to a co-worker who spoke to investigators, Paporakis regularly made racist remarks, particularly targeting Indians. He openly identified himself as a white supremacist and frequently spoke about Nazis and armed struggle.
