The real research is interesting but this post mixes it with a lot of made-up stuff.
Herbert Benson at Harvard did study Tibetan monks in the 80s and 90s. A 1990 paper reported that three monks could drop their metabolism by as much as 64 percent during certain meditations, and earlier work showed they could raise the temperature of their fingers and toes in the cold. Those are real, published findings from small case studies.
What the post adds on top does not hold up. The video looks staged or AI-generated (the floating monk and the night-vision lion especially). There is no evidence the Pentagon funded or classified the work, and the 94 percent claim about adults losing access to deep rest does not appear in any of the studies. Heart rate dropping near zero and limbs getting cold enough to kill people are also not what was measured.
The basic finding that trained meditators can shift metabolism and body temperature more than expected is documented. The rest of the framing is not.
Benson plagiarized Transcendental Meditation in the 1970s from one of Maharishiโs earliest researchers. He replicated studies on TM practitioners and renamed it Relaxation Response. Towards his final years when in his 90s, I interviewed him at Harvard. I have a video of that. He acknowledges his debt to Maharishi - but too late and too little.

This is exactly why I built NX9-WG, a Linux-native, open-source VPN, firewall and networking appliance.
Built around @WireGuardVPN and Linux kernel networking, NX9-WG orchestrates routing, network interfaces and firewall rules to help create controlled, secure network connectivity without unnecessary software dependencies.
The goal: self-hosted infrastructure, privacy, full ownership, minimal footprint and no vendor lock-in.
For industrial IoT, OT systems, remote sites and edge networks, secure connectivity should be the foundation, not an afterthought.

๐จ Airtel Customer Grievance: Existing Postpaid Connection โ Safe Custody โ SIM Replacement โ Forced Plan Change?
@airtelindia @airtelindia @airtelindia
@airtelindia @TRAI @DoT_India @JM_Scindia @Officejmscindia
I am putting this experience on record because this is not merely about a โน200 difference in a monthly plan. It is about how an existing telecom customer is treated when restoring an existing connection.
An existing Airtel postpaid number belonging to my son was placed under Safe Custody while he was residing in Berlin, Germany.
โ
Postpaid bills were paid.
โ
The number was an existing Airtel connection.
โ
It was NOT a new connection.
โ
We did NOT request a new number.
โ
We followed Airtel's prescribed process for restoration.
Airtel Customer Care advised us to submit a signed NOC from the registered subscriber authorising a representative in India to collect the replacement SIM.
We complied.
The NOC was duly signed by the registered subscriber, identity documents were provided, and the authorised representative visited the Airtel Store.
The SIM was eventually issued and the number was successfully activated.
But then came the problem.
The existing connection was supposed to continue with its earlier Infinity โน249 plan.
Instead, we were told that the โน249 plan was "currently not available" and were pushed towards the โน449 Infinity Family plan.
The Airtel Thanks App now shows the โน449 plan on the same existing postpaid connection.
My question to @airtelindia is simple:
Why should replacement of a SIM after Safe Custody automatically become an occasion to move an existing customer to a higher-value plan?
I am NOT asking for a new connection.
I am NOT asking for a new-customer offer.
I am asking for restoration/continuation of the plan applicable to the existing connection before Safe Custody.
There is another serious issue:
At the Airtel Store, we were initially asked to pay โน1,500, with the explanation that the number was a "vanity" number.
This was disputed because the number was originally allocated by BSNL and was subsequently ported to Airtel. It was not newly selected as a vanity number by us.
So I have asked Airtel for a clear written explanation:
๐น What is the basis for calling this an Airtel "vanity" number?
๐น Under which published policy was โน1,500 demanded?
๐น Why was the existing โน249 plan not restored?
๐น What exactly happens to an existing postpaid plan when a connection comes out of Safe Custody?
๐น Is a customer expected to accept a higher-value plan simply because a replacement SIM is issued?
The store experience was also disappointing. Customer Care subsequently acknowledged the complaint and asked for the store details.
To be clear: the SIM has now been obtained and the number is active.
The unresolved issue is the treatment of the existing customer and the change of plan during the restoration process.
I have preserved the relevant evidence:
๐ Airtel payment receipt
๐ Airtel Thanks App showing the current โน449 plan
๐ Airtel Care conversations
๐ NOC submitted to Airtel
๐ Store details
๐ Correspondence regarding the โน249 โ โน449 change
I am formally asking @airtelindia to provide a specific written explanation, not another generic response saying "โน249 is unavailable."
If the โน249 plan genuinely cannot be restored, please explain why an existing customer's previous plan cannot be reinstated after Safe Custody, and identify the applicable terms/policy.
@TRAI @DoT_India @JM_Scindia @Officejmscindia
I request that the appropriate telecom consumer-grievance mechanism take note of this case and seek a clear response from the service provider.
This is about transparency, continuity of service and fair treatment of existing telecom customers โ not merely about โน200.

๐จ @YouTube @YouTubeIndia โ Please review this!
My YouTube Premium Family membership has been paused because YouTube says it cannot confirm that my account is in the same household as the Family Manager.
This appears to be a false household-verification result.
๐น The family group has been active since 1 January 2026.
๐น The affected account is a separate YouTube/Google account dedicated to my home TV, so that its watch history, subscriptions and recommendations remain separate.
๐น The TV is permanently connected to my home LAN and residential Internet connection.
๐น I run my own WireGuard VPN (NX9-WG) at home to securely manage my own devices.
๐น My Motorola phone occasionally accesses this YouTube account, and it is connected to my own home VPN.
๐น The VPN exits through the same residential Internet connection used by my TV.
๐น This is not a commercial VPN, proxy, location-spoofing service, or attempt to conceal my location.
๐น I am not trying to circumvent YouTube's country, pricing or availability restrictions.
๐ This is one household, one residential Internet connection, and one family group.
YouTube says family members must live in the same household and that it performs periodic household verification.
I understand and accept that requirement.
What I don't understand is why a legitimate household member, who has been part of the family group since January, can suddenly have Premium benefits paused with no apparent way to resume the existing membership.
โ ๏ธ An automated verification failure should not automatically become an irreversible decision for a genuine household member.
๐ @YouTube @YouTubeIndia @TeamYouTube โ please provide a way to request a manual household verification/review and restore the existing Family Premium benefit.
I am happy to provide appropriate verification privately through official support.
Please fix this false-positive household verification process.

This is my own VPN server nx9-wg:
github.com/thakares/nx9-wg
๐จ Technical note on this:
The Moto (my phone) used for occasional access was on a self-hosted WireGuard full tunnel to NX9-WG at home (AllowedIPs = 0.0.0.0/0, ::/0). Not a commercial VPN, proxy, or location-spoofing service.
๐น IPv4 from the Moto (ifconfig.co + ipify) both returned the home public IPv4. The WG peer was up and transferring traffic.
So the IPv4 path was:
Moto โ WireGuard โ NX9-WG โ home ISP โ Internet
not Moto โ mobile ISP.
๐น IPv6 through the tunnel is currently broken (curl -6 fails). That is not an IPv6 leak. A leak would usually return a carrier IPv6 address.
โ
Observed IPv4 egress does not support โYouTube saw a different mobile IP.โ
โ ๏ธ Same residential IPv4 still โ identical Google household identity.
So, @google has collected something unpublished in the public domain and collected extremely private and privacy data also via YouTube:
Other unpublished signals (device graph, account history, radio/network state) can still diverge.

This is well planned strategy by incumbents to limit open-weight models, developer access, and competition from Chinese labs.
Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei's call to slow AI model development as a coordinated effort by industry leaders including Sam Altman and Elon Musk to impose centralized control over AI advancement.
As industry leaders use safety rhetoric to limit open-weight models, developer access, and Chinese lab competition, preserving incumbent dominance over exponential advancements, safety concerns are portrayed as tools for incumbents to restrict access, preventing exponential open-source progress and preserving authoritarian-style oversight over AI advancement.
Altman, Dario Amodei, and Elon Musk (via endorsement of slower development) seek centralized global control over AI to counter exponential growth, particularly from open-weight models and Chinese labs.

this entire staged event serves a desperate financial agenda in a pre ipo panic facing the slowdown of scaling laws and growing investor skepticism over the profitability of foundational models openai needs to manufacture an artificial sputnik moment claiming to solve a millennium prize without immediately submitting the proof to traditional peer review means using the prestige of fundamental mathematics as cheap marketing fuel to inflate a delusional valuation!!!
real science is not a clout chase on social media or a compute spike spent to rob the clay mathematics institute it is a quest for elegance physical truth and universal rigor to decode reality true artificial intelligence will not emerge from hostile corporate takeover of academic work hidden behind computational bruteforce but from architectures capable of generating new conceptual paradigms by masquerading constrained formalization as the collapse of physics greatest mysteries you did not solve navier stokes you only proved how far silicon valley will go to prostitute scientific integrity for capitalist spectacle
Weโre sharing a solution to the Navier-Stokes Millennium Prize Problem, one of the deepest problems at the frontier of mathematics.
The proof was produced by a group of agents, using an OpenAI next-generation model significantly more capable than GPT-6 Astra.
The problem concerns whether the description of smooth three-dimensional fluid motion modeled by the Navier-Stokes equations can break down. It has remained unresolved for roughly 90 years.

๐ nx9-wg is not another WireGuard panel.
There are already plenty of tools that create peers, generate QR codes and bring up WireGuard.
The harder problem is:
What happens after the configuration is applied?
Most WG management stacks look roughly like:
๐ Web UI
โ
๐ Config files
โ
โ๏ธ wg / wg-quick
โ
๐ง ip / nft / sysctl
โ
๐ง Linux kernel
That works.
But a VPN control plane for a router, CPE, SD-WAN appliance or private WAN needs something more.
๐ง nx9-wg is built around desired state and reconciliation.
SQLite stores authoritative desired state.
The reconciliation engine compares it with live system state.
Then nx9-wg talks directly to Linux through:
๐น WireGuard Generic Netlink
๐น RTNETLINK for links, addresses and routes
๐น libnftables. so.1 for firewall and NAT
๐น procfs for forwarding
โ No wg subprocess.
โ No wg-quick.
โ No ip subprocess.
โ No nft subprocess.
โ No Node runtime.
โ No Python runtime in the appliance path.
Just one Rust binary coordinating the network state.
That architectural difference matters.
๐ Why does reconciliation matter for a VPN?
A VPN is not:
create peer โ generate QR โ done
It is a live relationship between:
๐ค peers
๐ก interfaces
๐ tunnel addresses
๐ฃ๏ธ routes
๐ฅ firewall policy
๐ NAT
โ๏ธ forwarding
๐พ persistent state
๐ง kernel state
And systems drift.
Someone changes a route manually.
A peer disappears from the database but remains active in the kernel.
A firewall rule changes.
A reboot reconstructs only part of the expected state.
Docker, CNI, libvirt or another networking component changes something underneath you.
The dangerous failure is often silent divergence.
The database says one thing.
The kernel is doing another.
nx9-wg treats:
๐พ SQLite = authoritative desired state
๐ง Linux kernel = live state
๐ reconciliation = convergence mechanism
The lifecycle is:
Plan โ Apply โ Verify โ Converged
Or:
PartialFailure / DriftRemains
If the system is already converged, applying the same desired state should be a no-op.
That is a much more useful property than another dashboard.
๐ก Why does this matter for CPE firmware?
โก๏ธ Routers and CPE devices have different constraints from a desktop Linux server.
You want:
โก small runtime footprint
๐ explicit privilege boundaries
๐พ deterministic persistent state
๐ predictable reboot recovery
๐งฉ simple integration
๐ง native Linux networking
๐ ๏ธ diagnosability without a cloud dependency
A CPE should be able to reboot at 03:00, read its persistent state, reconstruct the required kernel state, reconcile it, verify it and become converged again.
That is a firmware problem.
Not a UI problem.
The same model can apply to:
๐ SMB routers
๐ก broadband CPE
๐ SD-WAN appliances
๐ญ industrial gateways
๐ข managed VPN appliances
๐ฐ๏ธ private WAN edge devices
๐ถ small ISP infrastructure
The useful abstraction becomes:
interface โ peer โ address allocation โ route โ firewall โ NAT โ forwarding โ diagnostics โ backup
A vendor can build its own product experience around that control plane instead of rebuilding the networking state machine from scratch.
๐ And the license matters.
nx9-wg is MIT OR Apache-2.0.
That is intentional.
A firmware vendor can potentially:
๐ง integrate the binary
๐ฆ vendor the crates
๐งฉ add board-specific integration
๐ audit the Netlink implementation
๐๏ธ build its own product layer
๐ ship it as part of a commercial appliance
without introducing a copyleft requirement.
โ
Apache-2.0 provides an explicit patent grant.
โ
MIT keeps the licensing model simple.
โ No license server.
โ No mandatory cloud.
โ No telemetry requirement.
โ No SaaS dependency.
For vendors building networking products, that flexibility matters.
๐ข What about small and medium-sized companies?
They do not necessarily need another VPN SaaS dashboard.
They need infrastructure they can own.
nx9-wg is aimed at capabilities such as:
๐ site-to-site VPN
๐จโ๐ป road-warrior access
๐ private LAN access
๐ฅ peer lifecycle management
๐พ backup and restore
๐ auditability
๐ diagnostics
๐ฅ๏ธ CLI + Web UI
๐พ persistent desired state
without making the company's network dependent on somebody else's subscription.
The expensive failure is not:
"Our dashboard needs another widget."
It is:
"The tunnel is up, the route is wrong, and nobody knows why."
Reconciliation gives you somewhere to start answering that question.
โ ๏ธ One important WireGuard invariant
Server-side AllowedIPs and client-side full-tunnel policy are not the same thing.
For server peers, nx9-wg derives /32 or /128 cryptokey routes from assigned tunnel addresses.
A client wanting:
0.0.0.0/0
for full-tunnel traffic is a different concern.
Conflating those two concepts is an easy way to break a multi-peer VPN.
That distinction belongs in the control plane.
Not in a UI dropdown.
๐งช And I'm not going to oversell the validation.
Physical validation has been performed.
The multi-path remote LAN scenario was tested across:
๐ฑ cellular 5G
๐ถ Wi-Fi
๐ฑ phone STA + AP hop
๐ป SSH access into the protected LAN
But throughput soak and roaming-during-session are not being claimed as completed validation.
Unit tests matter.
They are not a substitute for a real client on the other side of a real tunnel.
That distinction matters in networking software.
๐ง The idea behind nx9-wg is simple:
๐พ Desired state lives in SQLite.
๐ง Live state lives in the Linux kernel.
๐ Reconciliation sits between them.
๐ The operator keeps control of the infrastructure.
That is what makes nx9-wg interesting to me.
Not another pretty WireGuard panel.
A native Linux control plane that can potentially sit underneath:
๐ก a CPE
๐ a router
๐ญ an industrial gateway
๐ข an SMB network
๐ฐ๏ธ a private WAN
๐ or a commercial networking product
