5 years ago flying home after apartment hunting in AZ after getting into PA school. ✈️
Not long after, an in-flight medical emergency on @SouthwestAir was announced and these 3 awesome humans jumped in to help. A retired CRNA, an OB nurse, a new AEMT, and me —a paramedic.
The passenger had chest pain and @SouthwestAir handled everything quickly and calmly. Plus, their mini crash cart was impressive. When we landed in Chicago, @CFDMedia transported him to the hospital and Southwest made sure his wife had a ride to meet him.
Medicine has a funny way of bringing people together.
