Big thanks to @testers_com 🙌 Without them, I couldn’t have gotten the app into the Play Store this fast.
If you’re struggling to find testers for your Android closed beta, they can help. Definitely recommend!

Not affiliated, but testerscommunity.com has made the Android closed testing process a breeze for only $15.
An AI just built a playable 3D open world game. Nobody wrote a single line of it, and you can play it in your browser right now.
We spent some time in Kimi's build gallery this week. Games, 3D, dashboards, SaaS apps, full websites. You describe what you want and the model builds it. Games is one category out of twelve.
If you publish on Google Play, this is worth paying attention to.
Building is no longer the hard part. Being found is.
And at this rate, give it a few months and one of these will build GTA 6 in a single shot.
12 testers is not a random number Google picked out of a hat.
It is the minimum viable audience.
And most developers do not understand why it matters.
Here is what 12 real testers actually gives you:
--> 12 different devices.
Your app works perfectly on your phone. But what about the budget Android with 4GB RAM? Or the tablet running an older OS version? Or the phone with a notch that breaks your layout? 12 testers means 12 real screens. Real bugs you would never catch alone.
--> 12 different perspectives.
What makes sense to you will confuse someone else. By tester 8, you will spot the UX gap that kills your onboarding.
--> 12 days of proof.
Google tracks daily engagement. 12 people opening your app for 14 days is not bureaucracy. It is proof that a human being finds value in what you built.
--> 12 voices of honest feedback.
Friends say "looks great." Real testers say "this button does nothing" or "I have no idea what this screen means." You need the second one.
--> 12 reasons to finish what you started.
Most apps that come to Testers Community are 80% done. Those 14 days force the last 20% into existence. The polish. The edge cases. The "oh I forgot about that" moments.
12 testers is not a gate to frustrate you.
It is a mirror.
If you cannot get 12 people to care about your app for two weeks, the market will not either.
That is not a rule problem. That is a product problem.
And it is better to find that out in week two than in month six.
How many testers did you have for your last app?👇
Is it still worth publishing an app on the play store in 2026?
we looked at 3 million+ apps
96% of the apps published this year never got a single rating
84% never reached 1,000 installs
the average app published this year has 41 installs
so is it worth it?
in january 2024, 21,568 apps were published that month
in june 2026, 93,320
that is 3,111 new apps every single day. two years ago it was under 700
the main reason behind this is ai. building an app is almost free now. anyone can make one, and everyone is. the store is flooded
65% of apps have no ads and nothing to buy inside them. they are not making a single dollar
out of every 66 apps launched this year, only 1 has crossed 100,000 installs
and most of the store is not even alive. nearly 1 in 4 apps published in 2024 were never updated again after the day they launched
what works now is what always worked. an app that solves a real problem, and marketing that actually reaches people
everything else just sits there
this is our app on google play
we went through the whole 12 testers, 14 days thing ourselves to get it here. we know how it feels
that's why we built testers community. 50,000+ developers are on it right now and the number goes up every day
and it's FREE
you test a few apps from other devs, you earn credits, you get your 12 testers. the community is free
we don't want you to go through what we did. if you need testers, check out the website
drop your app below if you're stuck in closed testing. we'll take a look
