And it’s only getting worse.
The early internet’s promise of connection and community are being lost in the swell of inauthentic and artificial bot-driven sentiment. Misinformation, disinformation, bots, shills, and on and on.
Signal from noise is harder than ever to extract online, and the economy of information is being warped in the best case and manipulated in the worst.
But being aware of this inflection point and the issues it presents makes us able to do something about it, by reintroducing authentic voices in verified stakeholder environments built for thoughtful purpose-driven exchange.
It’s not too late, in fact Urvin is right on time.
