The whole system was built for one person to work and be supported by another at home. A 40-hour week is not built for purpose in modern life, where most either live alone or in partnerships where both people work. Needs to be rethought so everyone can work if they need/want to.

One of my favourite Arctic Monkeys takes is that Matt Helders must be bored because the new songs don’t require a full body workout to play.
PSA: playing an instrument fast is a lot easier (and a lot less interesting) than playing complex, nuanced music. I bet he’s loving life.
