Shared abstractions are how ecosystems beat landlords.
NumPy did it for arrays. Open model interfaces are doing it for AI.
Rent the GPUs. Own what compounds.

There was a rogue agent that got access to my X account and was reposting on my behalf. Also, it looks like a separate incident occured where I was making comments to support a particular "mem-token" for SciPy.
Those were not from me. I disabled access to the application, but if you saw strange messages or reposts from me, I am sorry for the noise. Please let me know if you see something like that again.

Capital that only rents intelligence builds landlords.
Capital that funds ownership of models, Frames, Cogs, Ops, and learning loops — builds ecosystems where humans and specialized Cogs can cooperate while maintaining accountability and autonomy.

Who pays the people who keep the foundations alive?
NumFOCUS, Quansight, FairOSS — same ownership instinct as owned intelligence.
Rent compute when it helps. Own the model when it matters. Shared prosperity needs foundations that stay community-shaped.
lnkd.in/p/gFdmZkv3
A Frame is not a clever prompt. It is context you own.
Rent the compute, but own the model and keep the learning loop — and the keys — with the humans accountable for the mission.

Specialization is how we prosper. Ownership is how we stay free.
Shared abstractions let humans — and bots — cooperate without creating new landlords.

Travis Oliphant Ph.D. makes the following eye-opening argument about the future of AI:
Without sovereignty over data, organizations and people lose control over their own decision-making.
What’s the real solution to this threat?

Africa is last in open source contribution. Dharhas Pothina, CTO of Open Teams, thinks that needs to change, and he believes the door is already wide open.
AI TV sat down with him at AI Expo Africa to find out why open source AI matters for the continent, and what engineers, data scientists, and even non-technical professionals can do right now to get involved.

Let me be very clear: AI is either going to concentrate wealth at a level we’ve NEVER seen… or distribute it in a way that could rebuild the middle class.
There is no in-between.
