Hey everyone — I’m making this post to help out a friend who would never ask for help herself.
Lady Oreo recently moved to a new state and bought her first home. It should’ve been a really exciting step, but instead she got hit with major plumbing issues almost immediately, which ended up costing a lot more than expected and wiped her savings.
She’s been trying to handle everything on her own (as she always does), but I convinced her to at least set up a Throne wishlist with some basic things she still needs to properly settle into her home, for example, an ACTUAL BED.
Check it out here: throne.com/ldyoreo
If you’re able to help, even something small makes a difference. There’s also a raffle running through her page, so if you do contribute you might get something back as well.
And if you can’t help financially, sharing this post honestly helps just as much.
Let’s help her turn a rough start into something better ❤️

100M is a fun milestone and I’m proud of how far our team has come. But ultimately it’s a vanity as we aren’t where we need to or should be. The truth is we haven’t removed the beta tag from our logo for this reason.
When we launched Kick, we rushed to market. We knew the opportunity was there and we went for it. But the reality is we shipped with weak plumbing, purchased tech and lacked experience in streaming. We’ve spent the better part of three years paying for that, quietly rebuilding from the ground up while trying to keep the lights on and the platform growing at the same time.
That work is almost done. The foundation and team is more solid now. And that means we can finally start moving with the force and direction this platform deserves.
We know our app sucks, we’ve got it to a point where it’s almost crash free but the experience is weak. We are taking our time to rebuild this fully native from the ground up and I have been personally involved in this project to ensure its success. Don’t worry we aren’t going to pull a twitch here and full tiktokify.
On the creator side we ended all our Saudi level contracts that gave us short term growth and buzz at the expense of longevity and good content. We’ve vastly improved our unit economics while steadily growing viewership and it’s allowed us to invest in steady growth of our kick partners via clipping and KPP.
We’ve removed and rejected thousands of accounts from KPP over the past few months for viewbotting and system abuse. We’ve deleted tens of millions of fake spam accounts.
Our next step is to correct the system so real creators with real communities will not have to compete against bots or rely on staff favoritism for discovery.
We’re actively rolling out our V1 algorithm (10% of users so far) that will make Kick the best long form streaming platform for authentic engagement and discovery.
We have started rolling out ads but you may have not even noticed because we are doing our best to make it as non-obtrusive as possible. It’s our commitment to find ways to make this a sustainable business without extracting from our streamers and user experience.
100M users on a broken foundation was the hard part. For what comes next we’re ready and more motivated than ever. @StakeEddie and I have invested close to $1b into this because we are insanely passionate about this business and believe in the future of streaming. We’re determined to see this through 👊🏽

Rust Creators, if you have this guy dm you offering to edit just know that you should NEVER hire him. Dm me for full reasons why, but just a warning since he now full blocked me and I am sure is looking for more work after scamming me <3
What a year.
Thanks to:
Every single person who grinded the game alongside me, insanely dedicated players.
@nlPenguin1 for being the GOAT.
@playrust @FcpnchStds for affording me the opportunity.
@Trainwreckstv + @CoconutBGaming for everything you've done for the community.
Get your exclusive L96 drop on my channel tomorrow @ 1PM PST on Kick. I'll be grinding like crazy to ensure no one misses out.
Thank you to @Trainwreckstv and @FcpnchStds for the opportunity. I'll do it justice.
And of course W @CoconutBGaming @FancyOrb_ @RustopiaServers and everyone else for making this a reality. A lot of people work really hard to put these things on and often get very little recognition for it.
After reviewing my appeal, @Twitch @TwitchSupport has shown me some compassion. I appreciate the discretionary measure - very reasonable tbh.
I do think there's still room for more clarity here.
It clearly specifies that "drinking goal streams are ALLOWED if not excessive."
I had one singular drink from being bone sober and this resulted in action being taken. I think there is either an enforcement issue here or the Community Guidelines could be adjusted to be more clear about what part of the behaviour is prohibited.
@Twitch @TwitchSupport
Classic Twitch clarity.
@LudwigAhgren
Is allowed to do alcohol challenges with Smash professionals until they're so hammered they assault eachother and he doesn't get banned but I take a single drink and that's "self-destructive".
Good stuff lmao see you next week
Why even use the wording "would likely lead to self-harm" in this rule? You're aware a single shot does not to anything of the sort - yet allow @LudwigAhgren to consume massive amounts of alcohol on stream without punishment.
Have you considered re-wording this rule @Twitch

If you're getting blurry textures in #Rust like these reddit posts, set texture.memory_budget_factor to 1.5 or 2 in the console. You're likely running out of VRAM on an older GPU. If the setting doesn’t help or doesn't change, you may be out of system RAM or encountering a bug.
"355ml Cocaine" was referring to an energy drink brand, @Twitch . I know nuance isn't your thing though lol
It's a 1 day ban and it's my weekend though so I'll take it IG lol
@Twitch @TwitchSupport Just so you know what you banned for
