"I've never been indicted for fraud. I've never been reported to the FBI for bribery. I've never been impeached by my own party, and I've never given a sweetheart deal to a pedophile.
"I have a different kind of experience. I've worked with both parties to cap the cost of insulin and pass the largest property tax cut in Texas history. I'm James Tallarico and I approve this message because we need a different kind of experience in Washington."

Dear Dan Caine, John Ratcliffe, and Marco Rubio. Once all Russia hawks. Cold warriors. Belief in American exceptionalism. Yet Trump now is fully allied with Putin (not my words, that’s the National Review and the Wall St Journal). So. How do any of u sleep at night? How?

This is on you, MAGA.
This dead child is on you.
Oh, you’ll bluster and talk trash, but your Dear Leader Trump serves with the murderers in Moscow.
I’d tell you to feel shame, but your souls are so dead you’ll laugh it off.
A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children.
I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.
Zelensky, this morning on Russia's latest attack: "six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old"

Some in Congress criticizing Trump's policy toward Ukraine. Fine but not nearly enough. Time to pass legislation by veto-proof margin providing eco & military aid to Ukraine and imposing sanctions on Russia. This Potus has shown he cannot be trusted with US foreign policy here.

ST. PETERSBURG BURNS AS RUSSIA'S AIR DEFENCES FACE A MASSIVE DRONE ATTACK 🇷🇺🇺🇦🔥
Russia's second-largest city endured a chaotic night as a large-scale drone attack sent residents searching for answers, disrupted airports and left several major facilities burning.
The extraordinary part wasn't just the scale of the attack. It was how ordinary Russians found out what was happening.
With residents complaining that no air-raid sirens had sounded, neighbourhood Telegram chats effectively became improvised warning systems.
"Nevsky District. Am I imagining it, or is that a rumble?"
"Very much not imagining it."
Leningrad Oblast Governor Alexander Drozdenko issued successive updates as the number of drones detected climbed from 11 to 57 and then 126. His announcements repeatedly assured residents that "Combat work continues."
By the end of the night, accounts of the attack put the number of drones involved at 145.
Among the facilities said to have caught fire were an oil terminal, a data centre and a major Ozon logistics warehouse. Ozon subsequently informed customers that products stored at the affected facility were no longer visible in its system.
An unusually polite way of explaining that your online shopping might have gone up in smoke.
Airports suspended operations under Russia's Plan Carpet security procedures, leaving travellers stranded and flights diverted. One aircraft carrying Russian tourists home from Egypt reportedly landed in Helsinki, where passengers spent five hours on the tarmac waiting for arrangements.
Meanwhile, St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov issued statements about the absence of casualties, while restrictions on photographing sensitive sites threatened residents with fines. When authorities announced a terrorism investigation, 525 readers of Fontanka responded with clown emojis.
The absurdities extended well beyond the burning warehouses.
Russian hosting provider Selectel had updated its contractual terms to address liability for potential damage caused by Russian air defences. The Defence Ministry was pursuing a lawsuit worth approximately one billion rubles against the Severnaya Verf shipyard over a frigate contract. And officials who had missed mandatory training were being instructed to attend summer classes.
Even as fires were being reported around St. Petersburg, Russia's Foreign Ministry was sharing photographs of a Pushkin-themed ball at its embassy in Beijing.
Elsewhere, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov faced a diplomatic walkout during an IMF meeting in Bangkok, with accounts describing roughly half the room leaving during his remarks.
On the battlefield, Ukrainian forces were also confronting Russian troops using gas pipelines as infiltration routes. In one operation, a Ukrainian ground robot named Gimli carried an explosive device nicknamed Shrek, while a Vampire drone dropped additional charges from above.
Yes, a dwarf, an ogre and a vampire were apparently involved in fighting Russian troops inside a pipeline.
St. Petersburg residents have also revived an old local superstition surrounding the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood. According to the legend, removing its scaffolding has preceded major disasters, from the Soviet collapse to the pandemic and the invasion of Ukraine.
The scaffolding reportedly came down again on Friday. The drone attack followed on Saturday night.
There is no evidence of a connection, of course, but the coincidence has given residents another reason to talk.
Beneath the jokes and bizarre details lies a serious problem for the Russian authorities. The attack demonstrated how difficult it can be to maintain normal civilian life when airports close, infrastructure burns and residents rely on neighbourhood chats to understand the danger around them.
Officials can issue reassuring statements and count newly painted benches. They cannot make a night of explosions disappear.

The Pentagon is delaying the delivery of Patriot missiles to Ukraine—missiles that have already been paid for by allies, reports *The Kyiv Independent*.
A shipment of missiles, fully funded by Ukraine’s allies (including through NATO mechanisms), is awaiting Hegseth’s signature; however, the Pentagon chief is deliberately blocking the process.
The Ukrainian leadership views this decision as another form of political pressure from Washington.

Since the American President announced the energy ceasefire a week ago, Russia has deliberately attacked Ukraine’s energy and oil and gas sectors 76 times. Last night alone, there were strikes on substations in the Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, and Odesa regions. Tens of thousands of families remain without power. Energy workers and repair crews are working virtually around the clock to restore electricity supply. Overnight, the Russians also struck residential buildings in our regions. As of now, 12 people have been reported injured, including two children. Two people have been killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. This morning, there was a strike on an agricultural enterprise in Volyn. All necessary services are working at the site.
In total, over this past week, the Russians have attacked Ukraine with almost 2,700 attack drones, 1,700 aerial bombs, and 66 missiles, most of them ballistic. The main targets of these strikes are energy facilities – the Russians are trying to cause a blackout. And America should see that Russia is not taking any reciprocal steps in response to sanctions relief or agreements. On the contrary, they take every signal of an opportunity to make money as proof that their bet on war is paying off and they can keep fighting. It is because of this position of Russia’s that the war continues, not because Ukraine is rightfully defending itself. It is Russia that must face pressure for peace to have a chance. Thank you to everyone who understands this and helps.

On October 16, 2019, I told Donald Trump, “With you, Mr. President, all roads lead to Putin.”
On October 16, 2026, Trump signed an executive order waiving new sanctions on Russia passed by bipartisan majorities in Congress and signed into law just last month.
This decision insults America’s commitment to democracy and our brave men and women in uniform, as Russia helps Iran target American forces.
I join Republican senators in condemning this unconscionable capitulation to a Russian dictator who illegally invaded Ukraine and butchers innocent civilians.
As I have asked for years: What does Putin have on Trump that he would sell out America’s values?
