Vaults are becoming a core layer of the financial stack, but not all vaults are created equal. Makina's vaults combine strategy flexibility and execution efficiency with explicit depositor protections: ▪ Vault risk managers define permitted actions and risk parameters. ▪ Vault operators can only execute actions within a pre-approved set of Instructions. ▪ Instruction-set updates are timelocked and subject to Security Council and Root Guardian vetoes. ▪ Separate execution, risk management and oversight roles limit any single actor’s authority. Alongside custody models and permissions, transparency into a vault’s operations, accounting methodology and risk profile is essential. Makina makes allocations, risk parameters and instruction-set updates easy to inspect, with underlying onchain data available for independent verification.

The future of managing capital onchain has many names. AgentFi, agentic finance, agentic DeFi, DeFAI. Call it what you want, it will change how capital is managed. And MakinaX will be the DeFi execution engine needed to constrain agents that manage capital. More below.

Arc 🤝 Dialectic We are excited to announce that Dialectic is a day-one curator on @arc, starting with our Dialectic RWA USDC vault on Morpho. This vault allows @Morpho users to lend against tokenized RWAs on Arc to achieve a diversified exposure to high yielding RWA assets.

One of the art world’s most persistent clichés is that tech wealth doesn’t translate into cultural engagement. @mgerlis's excellent @FT piece actually makes the opposite case, with the OG @kukulabanze as one compelling example. From his $29m acquisition of @beeple's Human One to his work across @MuseumModernArt and digital culture, the more interesting story is what happens after the market event: when a work enters museums, accumulates institutional meaning, and begins to move toward the canon towards a genuine zeitgeist. Ryan describes his collecting mission as helping “tell the story of iconic works of our time.” His thesis reflects a broader paradigm running through @Dialectic_Group, where capital meets technology and culture and are not siloed into separate systems. They increasingly produce meaning together. Every era has its patron class. The Medici did not simply collect the Renaissance; their capital helped determine which artists, institutions and ideas came to define it. The more interesting question today is whether tech entrepreneurs are beginning to play a comparable role, not merely buying the art of this technological age, but helping shape the cultural record through which it will eventually be understood. I believe it is. The future is bright 💫

Royco Dawn takes individual yield strategies—lending, stablecoin strategies, RWAs, etc.—and divides their risk into Senior and Junior tranches. You deposit USDC → Dialectic allocates it across Royco Dawn Senior tranches → Junior capital absorbs losses first → you receive the blended Senior yield. Great DeFi product

HyperNormalisation is a 2016 BBCdocumentary by British filmmaker Adam Curtis. It argues that following the global economic crises of the 1970s, governments, financiers and technological utopians gave up on trying to shape the complex "real world" and instead established a simpler "fake world" for the benefit of multi-national corporations that is kept stable by neoliberalgovernments.

This week’s coordinated psyop to slow down AI marks a new phase of what Adam Curtis calls ‘HyperNormalization’ This is when, as was the case in the Soviet Union, the population normalizes the fact that everything is a lie. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HyperN… nitter.cf/sayerjigmi/status/2099…
🚨 1/MAJOR ESCALATION: Barack Obama just told Hakeem Jeffries to make AI regulation the center of the Democratic agenda — “once you are speaker.” The NYT story reads like a former president weighing in. Read it closely and it’s something else: the next domino in an eighteen-day sequence. Here’s the sequence. 🧵👇 nytimes.com/2026/09/13/us/po…

.@DavidSacks makes a good case here that the “AI will kill humanity” headlines were orchestrated: they leaped into mainstream media from the dormant X account of an Anthropic employee who quit after six weeks. David names purported perpetrators and calls out the role @WSJ played.
Chamath @chamath: how does an account with no followers get 110 million views in a day? David Sacks @DavidSacks had an answer, on the same All-In @theallinpod taping. Within 15 minutes of the Anthropic researcher's doomsday resignation post, three policy groups amplified it: ENCODE AI's Nathan Calvin, the AI Policy Network's Peter Wildeford, and the AI Futures Project's Daniel Kokotajlo, who dropped a Rogan episode the same day using the same phrasing. All three groups are funded by Jaan Tallinn, who co-led Anthropic's Series A. The Wall Street Journal published a story on the resignation minutes before the tweets went out, meaning the paper had been briefed under embargo. The researcher had agreed to appear on the show and cancelled the morning of taping. Our breakdown traces the funding chain and what it means for Anthropic's IPO: podcastalpha.substack.com/su… Source: All-In Podcast - youtube.com/watch?v=cvxjqbfL…

Dario has written that we need to “pace the frontier,” and Sam has agreed. People may be surprised by my response: go ahead. You guys are the frontier. By any reasonable metric — market share, revenue growth, model capability — the two of you have a duopoly on frontier intelligence. You’ve also claimed the lead is widening because of recursive self-improvement. I don’t see what you see in the lab. If the unreleased models are scary enough that you think you should slow down, I support your decision to be responsible. But stop pretending you need anyone else’s permission. Stop pretending antitrust law has to be suspended so you can form a cartel. Stop pretending you need a regulatory approval process that supersedes product liability. Stop pretending METR is independent when it is intertwined with Anthropic’s investors and staff. Stop pretending you need those same evaluators to police competitors who aren’t even at the frontier. Most of all, stop pretending the motivation to slow down is purely altruistic. You face massive product-liability exposure if your products enable a truly damaging cyberattack. The market already punishes models that behave in unpredictable or unauthorized ways. After the Hugging Face episode, it is simply good business for OpenAI and Anthropic to trade some raw power for reliability and predictability. Call it alignment if you want. It is also just giving customers what they want. Pacing the frontier would also create breathing room for a more intelligent conversation about regulation than Bernie Sanders’ “shut it all down.” China is very unlikely to join a global agreement, as you know, and that has to be taken into account as well. So go ahead and pace the frontier. You are the ones setting it. The easiest way not to build superintelligence is for you to agree not to build it. Demanding your preferred regulatory framework as the price of that will look like blackmail of the public and the political system. So just do it. If you do, you’ll buy goodwill for the next conversation. If you don’t, we’ll know this was just another bid for regulatory capture — or an election-season psyop.

Jacob is correct here—we really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans! I personally think it is >10% within the next decade. I believe Anthropic is trying its best, but we do not yet have a plan to solve alignment for superintelligence and are not clearly on track to.

The market isn't pricing in everything $SPCX is actually building toward. @kukulabanze of @Dialectic_Group tells @RemyBlaireNews once you factor in orbital data centers and deep space ventures like lunar and Mars resource extraction, even after heavy discounting, the fair value comes out to "roughly double" of what it's worth today.
