To better clarify this, I'm not only and not just surprised of devs using Lombok. I'm mostly surprised that somebody decided to implement such an hack in such an absurd way with the goal of injecting the AST's source with code that a maven plugin or any decent IDE could generate.
#Lombok is the perfect demonstration that the simple fact that is technically possible to do something neither implies that is a good idea nor represents a good enough reason to actually do it.
