Baby Boomers consistently argue that they don’t represent the sweeping generalizations made about them - and that people who stereotype are wrong. Then they come under posts like this and demonstrate that those stereotypes exist for a reason. I know plenty of Baby Boomers who are wonderful, loving, supportive parents and grandparents. I also know people whose children experienced something very different. Both exist. But stereotypes don’t form for no reason. Over the past few days I’ve been served a lot of this because I’ve engaged with it. Even still, I find that the supportive and kind don’t really take the time to comment. The amount of insults, vitriol, anger, defensiveness and straw man arguments that have formed around a simple question - “Why is it OK to tax your kids and grandkids MORE to pay for your benefits?” has been astounding. One person suggested that I wouldn’t be able to mother Elon’s baby. Another told me I was retarded. Apparently, this is where a discussion about retirement funding takes us. It’s just seemingly a generational thing. I pointed out that as an elder millennial/Gen X, I don’t get defensive when I see others calling Millennials “snowflakes” because . . . I’m not a snowflake - that was also met with a ridiculous amount of defensive mudslinging and insults and “WE SUPPORTED YOU AND PUT A ROOF OVER YOUR HEAD AND FED YOU!!” comments. Yes. You were the parents. Feeding and housing the children you chose to have was your responsibility. Why is it being presented as an outstanding balance or a debt we have to repay? Many boomers are wondering why the estrangement epidemic is happening. I don’t think they will ever understand it because they think parenthood began a debt ledger - where every favor, bit of help, and other effort they expended (including basic needs, apparently) is something their adult children now need to “pay back.” You can believe you deserve the benefits you paid toward and still consider what you are asking younger people to be responsible for. Calling them ungrateful doesn’t answer that question and neither does listing the cost of raising them. If feeding your child becomes an argument for why they owe you compliance decades later, you’ve turned parenthood into a debt ledger - a loan they never signed up for. My kids don’t owe me for raising them. I was their mother. That was my job. I’d never, ever feel entitled to their hard earned money to pay for the mistakes of others just because I “deserve” it. The buck has to stop somewhere. If you want younger people to stop stereotyping a generation, perhaps be a little more kind, a little less judgmental, and a little more willing to have discussions before name calling and finger wagging and “pull yourself up by your bootstraps” and “you buy iced lattes” and “you have a 1k cell phone in your pocket” etc etc etc. 20 year olds didn’t create this problem. Queue stereotypical responses in 5…4…3…
I don't understand what isn't translating here. I know it sucks that Social Security has been a scam. I feel terrible that older folks and I have paid into it our entire lives, and now likely won't receive it. We have known SS would be insolvent for decades, but we kept voting in politicians who did nothing about it. I DO NOT THINK GEN Z SHOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR OLDER PEOPLE'S SOCIAL SECURITY. PERIOD. I don't feel "entitled" to their money even though I won't see a dime of what I paid in. WHY DO YOU!? THAT is the point.

I would say two things mainly. 1. They target a very different market. They are focused on smaller tier 3 and 4 markets. They are trying to serve smaller more rural areas. 2. They deploy small EDC pods (Edge Compute Data Centers). They are not interested in competing with the larger 50-100MW data centers. This gives them an advantage in both customer base that is largely untapped and speed to deploy since they are not taking on these massive multi-year projects. This is a highly speculative company and my position is even 1% of my portfolio. As of right now I'm basically just tracking the company and seeing how well they are able to execute.

$DUOT $AGPU Duos Technologies has been moving fast on its Columbus facility as part of the initial Axe Compute deal. During the Q2 earnings call, CEO Doug Recker said: "We actually had our customer do a visit last week on Thursday, and they were blown away…" "We bought this building in the beginning of July... We've actually installed over 7 megawatts of new infrastructure. When I say new infrastructure, that means you take a building, just the shell of the building... and we brought everything in brand new, everything from generators to cooling plant all the way to PDUs to cabinets to everything, lighting, raised floor. We put 17,000 square foot raised floor in. We did that all under 60 days." On August 28, Recker told WRBL that a smaller data center at the facility would be operating by the end of September. Duos also recently had an expired job posting for a Data Center Manager at the Columbus facility. The role is responsible for maintaining operational readiness as customer capacity expands and additional infrastructure is placed into service. The Columbus facility is targeted to reach 20 MW by Q4 2026.

People need to remember what happens if democrats win again. And a quote. You can have social safety nets or lax immigration/weak border enforcement. But not both.

Shiloh Hendrix was just found guilty of disorderly conduct. Count 1 towards the child: not guilty Count 2 towards the videographer: guilty Reminder that the “videographer” is a Somalian predator who was charged with raping a teenage girl but was let go. In Minnesota, if a foreigner sexually assaults minors, he goes free, but if you say the n-word, you are punished by the state. Two-tiered justice system.

For context this guy did not take the full citizens oath because it conflicted with his religion and received an exemption somehow.
I became a citizen just six years ago and I’m happy to lecture and educate you on what it means to be an American and why your party is undermining American values.

America imports foreign labor, so that corporations could pay immigrants wages Americans wouldn’t be able to live on, and the government then subsidizes that labor by putting those immigrants on welfare… that they pay for by taxing you and me. It’s all one big scam.

Hello Mr. Hunter Biden, You're getting six-digit likes on every post lately. I don't have any hope to ratio you or whatever through traditional "Hello" means. But for those uninitiated, those who are captivated by your fake-humble persona obviously PR-engineered to capture unsuspecting disaffected Republicans: You are not some humility, witty guy turning over a new leaf. You are the ultimate proof of nepotism, everything that the so-called "Epstein Class" is supposed to represent. Let me explain - off the top of my head. You were a board member of USGLC. U.S. Global Leadership Coalition. The most powerful NGO that nobody's ever heard of. Last year, I documented in several threads, how Liz Schrayer, USGLC lead, took credit for ramming through a 90 billion dollar bill for Ukraine in 2024, even as @mattvanswol demonstrated that Western North Carolina got zero help in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene because FEMA threw up their hands and said they ran out of funds. USGLC, arguably, is the most powerful NGO that nobody has ever heard of. It includes a bunch of corporations, a bunch of nonprofit leads, and ... for some magical reason, I documented, extensively, linked, that Liz Schrayer started pursuing you in 2012. During the Obama years, when you were Biden's son. Are you a former Secretary of State? No. Are you a CEO of a Fortune 500 company? No. That puts you below the average USGLC board member, by a good tier. So what DID get you on USGLC? The only reason: that you were the son of a sitting Vice President known for corruption, and you yourself were known for corruption. You are not "folksy." You are the worst of the worst of the elite. Most of the elite, at least, get their credentials through Georgetown/George Washington/Harvard Kennedy. You got yours purely on nepotism. Any photographs you have of yourself at motels is proof that you are so incompetent that you waste all your money, not that you come from humble beginnings. Because others like @MarcoPolo501c3 have thoroughly documented that you benefited a great deal from your nepotism. You even tried to bait those in with saying you prefer to keep immigration "legal" - but we all know the trap that keeps illegal immgrants here: outlaw deportations, and make every immigrant case "asylum", and magically, everyone who might've been here illegally a few years ago is legal. You may get 175K likes on your semi-subverting, PR-designed photographs. But those of us who know, know you're fake. xitter.cf/DataRepublican/status/…
🏛️ USGLC Recruited Hunter Biden... before Burisma 🏛️ Credit to @MarcoPolo501c3 for assistance with emails. In 2012, two years before Hunter Biden joined Burisma, Liz Schrayer, CEO of the Gates/Soros-backed US Global Leadership Corporation (USGLC), personally recruited him to their board. ❓If not for influence peddling, why was the sitting Vice President's son such a priority? Here’s the timeline: 👉 June 25, 2012: Schrayer invites Hunter to be a special guest at a USGLC gala honoring Senators Lindsey Graham and Patrick Leahy (with Madeleine Albright and Colin Powell in attendance). 👉 July 17, 2012: Hunter attends the event. 👉 July 26, 2012: Schrayer schedules a call with Hunter to discuss a "C-3 Board" position. 👉 August 21, 2012: Schrayer sends a formal letter: Hunter is unanimously nominated to the board, despite USGLC typically filling seats with CEOs and former senior officials. Again, all of this happened before Hunter Biden joined Burisma in 2014. 📌 It looks like strategic access to influence peddling while his father, the Vice President, held office.

Dear Senator Hawley, You have betrayed us…… We thought for sure you were going to help us drain the swamp and carry out the mandates we brought forth when electing Trump. On Memorial Day 2026, while the rest of America paused to honor the fallen who died defending our freedoms, you chose to gavel in a meaningless pro forma Senate session and then gavel it right back out. A 30 second ritual that accomplished exactly nothing except one thing: deliberately blocking President Trump from making a single recess appointment. You personally stood in the way of the American people’s mandate. We voted. We won. We gave President Trump the White House, we gave Republicans the Senate, and we sent a clear message……drain the swamp, confirm the loyalists, and move at warp speed to repair what the last four years destroyed. Instead, you and the rest of the Senate club decided the dusty old rulebook matters more than the will of the voters who handed you the majority. By keeping the Senate “technically in session” through sham pro forma meetings, you stripped the President of a constitutional tool specifically designed to bypass obstruction like this. Do you understand what that means, Senator? It means qualified America First nominees, judges, ambassadors, agency heads, and military leaders remain stuck in limbo while the same entrenched bureaucrats who sabotaged Trump the first time continue holding power. It means the deep state gets more time to resist, delay, leak, obstruct, and laugh at the voters who believed change was finally coming. It means Americans are once again being told their landslide victory was meaningless because the Senate has “traditions.” You ran on fighting the swamp. You wrote books about it. You raised your fist outside the Capitol with the rest of us. Now you’re the one holding the gavel that keeps the swamp alive. We are not disappointed, Senator Hawley. We are furious. You didn’t have to take that presiding slot. You didn’t have to participate in the ritual protecting the establishment from the very change Americans demanded. But you did. Every day those positions remain unfilled is another day the agenda Americans voted for is delayed. This is not “procedure.” This is betrayal dressed up in a suit and tie. The swamp does not drain itself. It requires leaders willing to confront a broken system instead of protecting it under the banner of “tradition.” Right now, you are choosing the institution over the people who elected you. We expected better from you. We still want to believe you are not just another suit who talks tough on Fox News and then folds the moment Senate leadership whispers “tradition.” Prove us wrong. Demand these pro forma charades end immediately. Demand recess appointments be allowed so President Trump can govern at the speed this moment requires. Stand in that chamber and publicly call out the hypocrisy. Because if you don’t, the answer to the question “What did Josh Hawley do on Memorial Day 2026?” will be simple: He helped keep the swamp alive. We’re watching. We’re angry. And we will remember. Sincerely, We the Disappointed, Disgusted, and Determined Trump Voters The American Majority You Were Elected to Serve
On this Memorial Day, we remember the heroes who gave their lives for our freedom. May God bless their families

🚨Top Democrat political consultant and campaign strategist, James Carville, just stated on the Left-wing ‘Policon’ podcast that when the Democrats regain power, they plan to: -Grant statehood to Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico, so that the Democrats can unlock 4 extra seats in the Senate. -Pack the U.S. Supreme Court from 9 Justices up to 13 Justices, adding another 4 Left-wing Justices to the court. -Reopen the U.S.-Mexico border and grant mass-amnesty to every single alien currently inside of the United States. -His advice to Democrat politicians: “Don’t run on it. Don’t talk about it. Just do it.”

Hello Senator Thune, At 3 AM on Friday, March 27th, in a near-empty chamber, you passed a bill by voice vote that excludes all funding for ICE and CBP. Let me repeat that: voice vote. No roll call. No record of who was there. No accountability. Just you, Barrasso, and a handful of senators shuffling paper in the dead of night while America slept. You could have demanded a recorded vote. You chose not to. You could have held the line for five more days until the House returned. You chose not to. You could have used the same procedural tools Democrats have used against you for 40 days. You chose not to. Instead, you gave Chuck Schumer exactly what he asked for, DHS funding minus immigration enforcement, and called it a win. Then you walked to the cameras and blamed the Democrats. Let's be precise about what you did: 1. You caved to a demand Democrats made on Day 1 of this shutdown. Forty-one days of supposed hardball negotiation, and you settled for their opening offer. 2. You handed them a template. The next time Democrats want to defund any agency — ICE, CBP, or anything else — they now know: just shut down DHS and wait. John Thune will fold at 3 AM. 3. You punted to reconciliation. "Good possibility," you said. Not "we will." Not "guaranteed." Just maybe. Meanwhile, ICE operates on fumes from last year's bill with no certainty of future funding. The precedent you set: You have argued for months that the filibuster is sacrosanct. That the 60-vote threshold protects minority rights. That we cannot bend Senate rules for policy wins. But at 3 AM on Friday, you bent every norm that actually mattered: • Voice vote to avoid accountability • Empty chamber to avoid debate • Midnight deal to avoid scrutiny • Immediate recess to avoid questions You'll bend the rules to avoid a fight. You just won't bend them to win one. What you've actually accomplished: Democrats demanded ICE restrictions. They got ICE defunded. Not reformed. Not restrained. Defunded. And you're out here tweeting about how Democrats are the "Defund the Police" party while you just voted to defund border enforcement at 3 in the morning. The question you should answer: Why did this deal have to happen at 3 AM? Why couldn't it happen at 3 PM, with cameras rolling and every senator on record? You know why. Because you didn't want your voters to see what surrender looks like. Here's my message: We saw it anyway. Stop hiding behind "Democrat obstruction." You're the Majority Leader. You set the schedule. You control the floor. You chose this outcome. Own it.
