Even though this looks really interesting, I think it would actually make you a worse DJ. Learning how to use your ears to effectively reverse engineer what you’re hearing from someone else’s set is an invaluable skill in the medium
I’m learning to DJ. I gave Opus 5.5 a set I loved and asked it to break it down.
It made a tool to track the DJ’s hands to see which controls he was touching, then cross-checked it against the audio spectrogram to identify fx, loops, transitions.
Everyone should be using AI to constantly learn new things.
