Recently I saw a post where someone was asking if oracles matter less once more assets live onchain.
It's quite the opposite. Oracles are core infrastructure.
As DeFi and TradFi merge into finance, more data has to live onchain. Take a tokenized treasury fund. It holds T-bills in the real world. Someone has to bring the NAV, the holdings and the custody data onchain. That's what an oracle does.
Every new asset class that comes onchain grows the oracle market with it.
After a year of NOT being able to use IPU6 cam on @Lenovo X1 on @Linux_Mint I gave it to @claudeai and it IS finally fixed. Thank you @AnthropicAI !

The Deposit Refund System (you know, the one where you get back money when you return a plastic bottle) is a prefect candidate to be put on a blockchain to make it interoperable. Both for national providers and internationally.

Remember how in crypto it is good practice to first send a small amount to check if the you sent to the right address? Well... you should also do it for any "normal" payments because if you cannot prove that the seller owns the account, they can claim YOU did NOT pay them.
