Bears QB Caleb Williams avoided any major injury to his hamstring Sunday, tests confirmed today — and the team isn’t even ruling him out for next Monday’s game against the Eagles, sources tell @ringer @netflixsports.
A massive sigh of relief in Chicago.
he's an insane person (complimentary)
I spent a day with Bears coach Ben Johnson. He's more fascinating than you thought. My Story. nytimes.com/athletic/7503680…

Do you feel like you don’t fit in as a ‘Democrat’ or a ‘Republican?’
Our new political typology shows this complexity, sorting the public into nine distinct groups based on their political and cultural values.

It's the right mindset I think
However, and it's not fair to toboni, idk if I want to watch more homegrown stars walk even if you can defend each individual decision to let guys go.
Here is the full quote from Paul Toboni.
Curious how Nats fans break it down, just in terms of what you want from the guy running your baseball team.
Thoughts?
ALT A quote from Paul Toboni, the Nationals' president of baseball operations, describing how he has not spent much time thinking about how much Nats fans have suffered with all the losing in recent years.
I've wondered if they'll just try and bring braxton jones back on a shorter deal and just hope his ankle/leg is stronger with another year post fracture since it sounded like play strength was part of the issue for him
had questions about the Bears LT spot on the latest Football 301 mailbag pod (OUT NOW!), and I totally blanked on the type of injury Ozzy Trapilo had. Which now makes sense why a few of you had questions about it!
my answer:
It's pretty slim pickings in FA (duh), Nijman maybe as a stopgap/hold your breath type? Draft-wise there are some interesting names that might be available with their 1st round pick and at 57, too. But like I said on the show, would prefer they go DT. And would prefer any guy they drafted have OT/OG flexibility, to help add depth behind the vets.
I guess the silver lining is Josh Simmons was able to come back from a patellar tendon on a startingly quick timeline?

That locker room video is going to hit like no drug known to man.
Also, how am I going to sleep tonight? #Bears
