When Paul wrote to "the church in Ephesus," did he mean one congregation or a whole city of house churches under shared elders? If it's the second one, today's multi-site church may be closer to the first century than we think. tedesler.substack.com/p/the-…

I don't care much for Starbucks coffee. Through the years, though, I have been given Starbuck cards. I scan them into my phone where they sit unused. Until now. They have milk! Yes, you can order the milk of another mammal, cold and fresh!! #lifehack

Morgan Stanley's Adam Jonas in new @SpaceX note: "The part of the SpaceX story that we believe holds the greatest growth potential, and that is being largely ignored/not contemplated by investors, is the Distributed Inference Cloud. Investors are already witnessing some degree of corporate/regulatory/social angst toward data centers. We see SPCX's efforts as instrumental in helping to get the Super Intelligence Economy and the Physical Intelligence Economy on the next leg of growth and economic development. As the 'density' of physical agents increases, we expect incrementally greater intelligence capability of the collective mobile swarm. We ask investors to be prepared to hear about the Distributed Inference Cloud and physical AI swarms in the coming year. From our seat, we think this subject is very close to breaking out in the investor discussion. Gradually… then suddenly."

That's awesome, ICETE is doing great work.
It’s been an encouraging three days in Dallas with ICETE (International Council of Evangelical Theological Educators). I didn’t know anyone when I arrived, and now leaving having made many friends who have years of experience in theological education experience.

Love this! I know it to be true, as well.
Every Serge worker, regardless of his or her primary ministry, is involved in making disciples by faithfully proclaiming the message of Christ’s coming, dying, and rising. This can take place in a clinic, a coffee shop, on a street corner, or from a pulpit. As Jesus commands us to not only make disciples but also to welcome them into His body: the church.  Read today's blog here bit.ly/47hxmT2 to hear about how this has come to life for a missionary in the UK.

1,000+ are heading to the Missions Leaders Conference this week, in Orlando. Our team arrives today and the hotel will soon be buzzing. Pray for great connections between leaders, lots of collaboration starts, & a spirit of humility and learning on the part of these leaders.

I am all for directly supporting indigenous ministries. I devote a good portion of my time to making that happen. But not instead of sending our own. We need both for the longterm health of our own churches.
