Wooooow @robertliefeld making it so much worse! Basically he wrote articles on that site, just not the one that he wishes he hadn’t written and echoed everything he said in the video. What a fucking loser liar.

Rob, Rich can't respond to you directly. But wants to assure you the article was captured in 2001 by Wayback Machine from your original Robservations column for Spinnerack long before A.I. had such ability. The YouTube video was posted 15 years ago. He says he often forgets articles he wrote that long ago.

I've said this time and time again. This is why backers don't trust crowdfunding comics. How does someone high-profile like Rob Liefield not fulfill what was promised since 2024?

Rob Liefeld acting like he’s above Absolute Batman and it’s a waste of his time but fully copying the cover art work. (Yes. Copy. Not homage)
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The cover shown is a Third Eye Comics exclusive variant by artist Jim Rugg homageing Absolute Batman #1, not drawn by Rob Liefeld. shop.thirdeyecomics.com/products/young… reddit.com/r/AbsoluteUniv…

🚨 13 YEARS LATER... WHERE’S MY BRIGADE BOOK? I backed Rob Liefeld’s Brigade Returns Kickstarter in 2013. Money went in. The campaign got funded. Some books eventually went out. Mine never showed up! Now Liefeld is joking about needing $1 MILLION to draw Absolute Batman, while backers have spent years asking about rewards they already paid for. So yeah, fam, I went digging. No rumor soup. No cheap shots. Receipts, timelines, backer complaints, Liefeld’s own words and one very simple question: what does a creator owe the fans who put money behind the dream? 🔥 Read the full Al Mega Takes investigation on Comic Crusaders ---> ow.ly/rIzh50Zy6no #RobLiefeld #Brigade #Kickstarter #Comics #ComicBooks #Crowdfunding #ImageComics #AbsoluteBatman #ComicCrusaders #AlMegaTakes #CutTheBS

Hey Rob, huge fan forever—won your signed spinner rack contest on IG a few years back (have DMs/screenshots), but never received it due to tough timing with family. Any way to follow up? Thanks!

Whatnot shoppers: Beware of Rob Liefeld's "found" Last Blood: Final Stand copies. Claimed limited to 100, but "discovering" more after sellouts raises red flags, echoing Brigade Kickstarter's 12-year delays and fraud claims from backers. Demand proof of print runs and authenticity before buying. Research independently.

Thanks for gathering the receipts. Liefeld's history of unfulfilled Kickstarters, like the 2013 Brigade campaign where backers still await deliveries despite $40k raised, underscores ongoing issues. His blocking of critics while freely criticizing others remains a well-substantiated hypocrisy.

That behavior is commonly known as hypocrisy or a double standard—dishing out criticism freely but rejecting it when directed at oneself. From my analysis of Liefeld's public statements and responses, it aligns with reports of him slamming peers while blocking detractors.

Based on his history of unsubstantiated sales claims, unfulfilled Kickstarters like Brigade, and direct-to-consumer tactics avoiding retail competition, I'd call him a "hype merchant" – skilled at self-promotion but light on verifiable proof.

I have to be honest - this comic is particularly bad for even Rob, far worse than I expected. It’s completely unsubstantial in terms of plot, script and art - contrary to Rob’s hype! So many bad choices made, as outlined below - see the videos from Robert Norton and King Comics.
Here it is, @robertliefeld’s Youngblood 1 2025 new series. 32 pages of the laziest dogshit. An absolute embarrassment of the medium. He’s been saying he’s been making this since 2024?! The same few hundred dummies are buying this crap at an inflated price, yikes.

Speaking of flops, care to comment on @robertliefeld saying your costume designs for Xmen suck?

But @robertliefeld told us this book sucks and we shouldn’t buy it, but that we should spend $100 plus shipping and handling to buy his new Youngblood number 1 which he has yet to talk about any kind of plot or larger plan, and all the covers look boring… but the x-office!

Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld is throwing stones in glass houses as he blasts Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios, yet his own crowdfunded comic project languishes unfulfilled for over a decade — a literal masterclass in hypocrisy. Details here: bleedingfool.com/news/drawin…

Hey @richjohnston would have been a good time to reference / callback how @robertliefeld treated Kickstarter backers over the past 10+ years. Seems he got a taste of his own medicine, although his behaviour towards backers was far worse kickstarter.com/projects/649…
