The bands playing, a taco truck just showed up, and there's folks having a lovely 4th of July down here in San Jose.
Come on down!
Come on people now, try to love one another right now. Wait that's what the band is saying!
Humor about a very serious topic.
I was born here, but I am here in San Jose for my friends who were not
Please pass the word that folks should come on down to downtown San Jose for the 4th of July protest, picnic and march.
Ping me if you want info! Or just show up at the Cesar Chavez Park. The band is playing and folks are chill

Hmm... apparently X is throttle deletions, presumably so that they have more content that survives to be scraped for AI training. My current deletion rate has slowed to about 100-200 per hour.
But most importantly, this means that the emigration from Twitter is huge.
I have some more stuff about MicroSpice over on the good place:

I've been on Bluesky (the new X alternative by Jack Dorsey, founder of twitter) and it's great. Lots of folks there, like this place without the sewage.

I am blushing.
But seriously, I only take on interns if there is a really interesting project that will help launch the intern's career.
The current project is just that, really interesting. It involves looking at security from a different tilt with major consequences.
This quoted post is unavailable.
I have an internship open to work on computer security.
This job involves onsite work in our labs directly with me on a new project. Key skills required are software design and implementation, and written communication.

In line with my impressions, bsky is gaining serious momentum and the audience quality over there is much, much higher than here.
