also my brother @nonbinarybutler started mailing me his tweets and it made me miss it here so I'm back
a man on hinge asked me what I'm looking for from dating apps yesterday and when I returned the question he said "I'm hoping to find someone wild and unstable"
not sure how best to break it to him that he will be incredibly disappointed by me

We're back with more lovely actual play friends! On this episode, we're joined by @techxni , @NSOrvis , and @BenFerber of @DNDramaNerds! As we discuss the intersection of stage plays and games, improv, tiered authorship in TTRPGs, and more. #Podcasts #TTRPGs
feeling really seen by the fact that every time I've told someone I'm going to a larp this weekend they have replied, "oh, of course you are"
I have an essay in this book and also a discount code if you, too, are passionate about dramaturgy and how we tell stories about history!

this conversation was an absolute joy -- we got delightfully in the weeds about table cultures and game mechanics and TTRPG history, and start to theorize how TTRPGs serve as an engine for a kind of participatory dramaturgy -- really cool stuff, thanks @mike_sell :~)
today on the podcast @NSOrvis and @techxni sit down with @mike_sell -- their conversation focuses on the affordances of making shared references to media and pop culture in TTRPG play and TTRPGs as engines for participatory dramaturgy.

Our first @DNDramaNerds recording in person! We had a LOT of fun, and I definitely did NOT troll the cast by recording on election night and having the plot involve fixing an election
no context spoilers for our first recording session of the next @DNDramaNerds campaign
i am mostly excited for today to be over bc it means having a pennsylvania phone number will no longer be a horrible curse

So @mayadeanewriter and I decided to write an essay about How To Read A Trans Fem Writer - about the hyper-criticality and scrutiny that our work is subjected to. And we invited some of our fave trans fem writers to comment! Check it out:
