So it turns out that @AnikaWells, the lady who wants to censor her political enemies at home and the entire Internet globally, lied about her misuse of public money for personal travel. And it's not even her first time. No wonder these lying crooks are desperate for censorship.
Calls have come for Anika Wells to repay the cost of her flight home and be stood down after records from Don Farrell’s office failed to substantiate a meeting she said took place.

Why has the hypocritical, taxpayer-funds abusing @AnikaWells not resigned?
Why has @AlboMP not sacked her?

What is Anika Wells talking about it being difficult to switch between the feed of who you follows and the 'aLgORiThM'? It's literally a pair of tabs on X.

Today Anika Wells introduced the Digital Duty of Care bill to Parliament. @shellenberger explains why we should be very concerned.

Q: “Why does the @AlboMP government want an army of bots to unleash on social media platforms?”
A:
WHERE'S OUR PROMISED COVID19 ROYAL COMMISSION @AlboMP???
Just *ANOTHER* quarter of a billion dollars of taxpayer funds vanished?!
Victoria’s corruption watchdog has found senior bureaucrats engaged in a major cover-up as the Andrews government's covid support program caused $257 million of taxpayer funds to be lost to "error, fraud and corruption”.

Huge ratio on this garbage post from Australia's 'liar-in-chief' @AlboMP who is absolutely desperate for Orwellian level censorship.

Here's my op-ed in the @australian today. I am grateful that they gave so much space to this issue.

Anika Wells is under pressure.
Calls are growing for the Communications Minister to kill off a new online safety bill.
Free speech advocate Michael Shellenberger says it “has to be scrapped”.
Listen to his conversation with Ben HERE.

Whether someone approves of the live stream or not isn't relevant.
It is NOT up to the government to determine what people can or cannot see. No government can be the arbiter of truth.
Enough of this overreach.
Btw, why are replies disabled, Sarah?
Under the Online Safety Act, the live streaming of an execution by firing squad is likely to constitute prohibited extreme violent material under the existing Unlawful Material Codes and Standards.
These laws impose mandatory obligations on digital platforms to detect, prevent and remove the most seriously harmful online content.
I have today written to the eSafety Commissioner to confirm that the planned live streaming of the execution of the Fort Hood shooter in the United States is captured by the Unlawful Material Codes and Standards.
Hey @AlboMP and @AnikaWells - just a reminder, Barry O'Farrell resigned over a bottle of wine.
Why do you have a lower standard to be held to? Disgusting.
Resign.
Anthony Albanese tries to defend Anika Wells lavish spending with taxpayer funds by saying “she paid it back”
Reporter “she broke the rules”
Albanese “she has paid back the money”
Reporter “if you get caught doing the wrong thing, you just pay it back?”
Albo “yes”
Warning: Dontvtry this with the ATO
Resign @AnikaWells
You push censorship and propaganda all while endlessly abusing taxpayer funds.
Disgraceful.
Seems you've forgotten that you work for and are accountable to the Australian people.
Anika Wells introduced Labor's Digital Duty of Care censorship bill, claiming that all kids are off social media after she introduced it two years ago.😳🤔🤣
Just listen to her rubbish; this fruitcake wants to censor all Australians, using the FAILED under-16s social media ban as an excuse.
Put Labor Last.
Disgusting @ACarbinesMP
The dystopian future you're creating is not wanted.
Looking forward to voting you out in November.
😵💫 I just watched this story from 7News about digital service of Victorian Government.
It’s most bizarre! Talking about infringements and fines as a “service” to Victorians, one where the public can opt in to receive all of their fines digitally, but touting the offering as a benefit.
They spoke about creating the ability to issue multiple fines at the same time, making it easier to fine people, the ability for drivers to receive a text message whilst they’re driving and it being widely welcomed by public.
What a strange “Govern me harder and faster” world Victorians live in…
Can’t say I’m impressed at all
...and the @AustralianLabor behind-the-scenes arguments go public.
Clearly @AlboMP is rapidly losing the support of his own party.
