Two critical vulnerabilities have been identified in PHP, a widely used programming language that powers websites and web applications. These vulnerabilities (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619) could allow malicious cyber actors to remotely execute code in PHP core, potentially compromising sensitive data and networks. The FBI urges organizations to take the following steps now: ➡️ If an immediate update is not feasible it is recommended that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. ➡️ Immediately update affected PHP installations following the guidance on php.net. Inventory where PHP runs in your environment, prioritizing internet-facing systems and vendor products that bundle PHP. ➡️ Monitor web servers for suspicious activity, including PHP processes unexpectedly launching command shells or downloading files. Ensure appropriate process-monitoring capabilities are in place to help identify potential exploitation. ➡️ If you find signs of compromise, isolate affected systems, preserve your web server and PHP logs, and report it to your local FBI field office or ic3.gov. Those reports help us identify the actors involved and warn other organizations before they become victims. For the latest information, follow PHP’s announcement on php.net, CERT-EU Security Advisory 2026-018, and CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog.

Two critical vulnerabilities have been discovered in PHP, potentially putting millions of websites at risk.🚨 The flaws, dubbed “PHP2Shell” (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619), could allow unauthenticated attackers to remotely execute malicious code on vulnerable web servers. What makes this particularly concerning is that the vulnerabilities exist in PHP itself, not in applications like WordPress or Laravel. Even fully updated websites could be vulnerable if the underlying PHP runtime is unpatched. The PHP security team released emergency fixes on October 21, 2026, for PHP 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, and 8.5. Older versions, including PHP 7.4, are still dependent on vendor backports or migration to supported releases. If you’re running PHP on a publicly accessible server, now is a good time to check for security updates.

The Maxwell spacecraft is in orbit and ready to get to work. The spacecraft we built for @viasat launched from Cape Canaveral yesterday. Over the next five months, it will demonstrate how Viasat's ViaSat-3 Ka-band and global L-band networks can give low Earth orbit missions near real-time data and telemetry, tracking and command (TT&C) at any point in orbit, supporting @NASA's Communications Services Project as it prepares to retire its TDRS fleet. Congratulations to the Viasat team on a successful launch!

Palestinian CHILDREN attempt to seriously maim or kill @FleurHassanN & company! That is not some tiny stone. That size of a rock hits a woman's head, & she very likely will be killed/seriously harmed! This is Palestinian culture. It was thrown by 13 year old (give or take)!

🚨 OUTSIDE IRAN, SHOUTED ACROSS A HARBOUR: "ONE, TWO, THREE. TRUMP MEET PAHLAVI!" This one was filmed outside Iran, in daylight, with the words called out over the water. Inside Iran, saying these words on camera risks prison and even execution. Here they can be shouted, so they are. Every one of these is for President Trump. The ask is that he meets Prince Reza Pahlavi, the man Iranians want to lead them once the Islamic Republic is gone. Repost it so the count reaches Washington. Print the words, count yourself in, and send me your video on Telegram. The link is in the first reply. Where would you shout it? Tell me below. #TrumpMeetPahlavi

🚨 WRITTEN IN IRAN AT REAL RISK, A NOTE FOR PRESIDENT TRUMP: MEET PAHLAVI. It starts on the street, the cars and the streetlights, so you can see it was filmed inside Iran. Then the camera comes down to a small notebook with three words in pencil. It looks like a quiet evening. But in Iran, a video like this found on your phone can cost you your freedom. They filmed it and sent it to me so President Trump would see it. The message: meet Prince Reza Pahlavi, the man Iranians want to lead them once the Islamic Republic is gone. Repost it and carry it the rest of the way. Send me your own on Telegram, wherever you are. The link is in the first reply. What would you write in that notebook? Tell me below. #TrumpMeetPahlavi

🚨 TRUMP, MEET PAHLAVI: WRITTEN BY HAND IN A CAR IN IRAN, THEN SAID OUT LOUD: "KING REZA PAHLAVI." A strip of squared paper held up inside a car at night, with the hashtag in green pen: Trump Meet Pahlavi. Then the voice tells you exactly who they mean: "King Reza Pahlavi." Then the camera turns to the window. The video is being recorded in the middle of a pro-regime gathering!! That is what is outside while this is being filmed, and they show it so you know this is really inside Iran. The paper stays down by the dashboard, and the words get said anyway. So here it is again, President Trump. Iranians are asking you to meet Prince Reza Pahlavi, the man they want to lead them in place of the Islamic Republic. Repost it. You can film yours anywhere. Send it to me on Telegram. The link is in the first reply. Would you have said it out loud with that pro-regime crowd outside the window? Tell me below. #TrumpMeetPahlavi

You can explain 802.11ax in your sleep. Can you explain 802.15.4? For a lot of wireless engineers the honest answer is no, and that gap is getting expensive. 802.15.4 is the layer sitting underneath Zigbee, Thread, 6LoWPAN, WirelessHART, and ISA100.11a. When a building automation vendor, a facilities team, or an OT group brings sensors into your environment, that's usually what arrives. It shares the 2.4 GHz band with your Wi-Fi. It has its own channel plan. It behaves nothing like an 802.11 client. So when the sensor mesh gets flaky and someone asks the Wi-Fi person to look at it, "that's not my protocol" stops being a useful answer. You're the one in the building who understands RF. Tom Carpenter's breakdown of 802.15.4 covers the bands, data rates, and where it actually fits. It's a solid starting point. Read it: zurl.co/jpoIK CWISA is where the structured version of this lives. It's the entry point to CWNP's IoT track and it covers 802.15.4, BLE, Zigbee, LoRaWAN, Thread, Z-Wave and more, vendor-neutral, so the knowledge transfers whoever built the gateway. 🚨 FROM HIGH ABOVE THE ROOFTOPS OF A CITY IN IRAN: TRUMP, MEET PAHLAVI. A printed sheet held up against the light, and a voice reading it out: "Trump meet to Pahlavi." The English is not perfect. Everybody understands it anyway. Then the paper drops and the camera shows you what was behind it: rooftops and apartment blocks all the way to the hills, under a clear blue sky. Demonstrating that the video is being sent from Iran. Every one of those buildings is full of people the Islamic Republic claims to speak for. This is one of them speaking for themselves, and what they ask is that President Trump meets Prince Reza Pahlavi, the man Iranians want to lead them once the regime is gone. Repost it so the view from up there reaches Washington. Filming yours? Any rooftop, any street, any country. Send it to me on Telegram. The link is in the first reply. How many people under those roofs do you think agree? Tell me in the replies. #TrumpMeetPahlavi
