Is Truecaller’s Game Over Now? The Indian government and TRAI have introduced a new system called Calling Name Presentation (CNAP) to help stop spam and fake calls. From November 1, telecom companies like Jio, Airtel, and Vi are expected to show the caller’s name on your phone screen. When you get a call from an unknown number, the name linked to that SIM card’s KYC details will appear on your screen. If the number is already saved in your contacts, the saved name will appear as usual. QTruecaller has also launched a Scam Checker feature to help identify fake and scam calls.
