There is no Right. There is just “not the Left.” Being on the Right today is the same as being a Protestant in the 16th century: No one agrees on anything, they just know they’re not Catholic.

"What does my body actually want from music? [...] as if all animal functions should be accelerated by light, audacious, turbulent, fiery melodies; as if iron and leaden life should be gilded by golden, tender, voluptuous chords. My melancholy wants to rest in the hiding places and abysses of perfection: for that, I need music." aph. 368

Excellent. Now we could establish hegemony within the right-wing sphere, build a new party, and forge a new artistic-cultural domain—hollowing out liberalism and iniquitous conservatism, while asserting power through the seizure of the state, the restructuring of universities, and a "war economy" directed against dispersive and inadequate human capital - unironically
Turns out the future does have flying cars

This is not a normal period. This is the death struggle of a 250-year historical era. If you are not ready to demand, accept, and exercise unconditional, plenary authority, you do not belong in politics in this period
Even a radical program like “remigration” is fake and gay. Without power it is a larp that our enemies use to scare old women. With power it is obvious, trivial, not even worth mentioning. Asking teacher if you can go to the bathroom. Explaining that you’ll wipe your ass

I don’t like the term “postliberal” for the simple fact that we are now all post liberals. We live under the regime of mass democracy; liberalism died decades and decades ago. Probably a century ago.

The first battlefield is the body. The conservation, management, and effective discharge of physical and intellectual energies mark the beginning of self-improvement: virtue is power—a weapon of war.
The Industrial Revolution demanded vast, quantifiable, precisely deployable quantities of human biomass in an ever more horizontally-integrated & efficient labor market. These were the material conditions for the calculation & articulation of utilitarian ethics by Bentham & Mill. They also drove the abolition of slavery in the British Empire. But in the post-industrial West, such large quantities of well-fed, vaccinated, propagandized, docile biomass were no longer needed for physical labor. A century & a half of utilitarianism had resulted in the increase of biomass, its comfort & freedoms, just in time for it to start becoming obsolete. Naturally, given more material comforts, freedoms, yet deprived of a coherence & purpose as an industrial labor force, these populations degenerated under a regime that now looked more like futuristic, exhausted hedonic anarchy than the virtuously prosperous totalizing states of the middle third of the 20th c. This is why Effective Altruism is so absurd & *anachronistic*—it seeks to maximize human life for its own sake, at precisely the moment when lowest common denominator lifeforms are losing value. Powerful superintelligences & the creativity, technology, knowledge, & experiences unlocked by them will make the basic human life less valuable than ever before. In a post-AGI or post-Super Intelligence world, utilitarian ethics will be irrelevant & seen to be a relic from the distant past. The only thing that will matter for humans is distinction. Humans will again be free to, but actually *forced to* make an artwork of their own lives. They will have to be exceptional, gifted, cultivated, adventurous, curious, ruthless, elegant; they must earn the right to exist, live & enjoy the fantastic splendor of the AI-powered future. This futuristic 'aristocratic' ethos is at odds with the mass-democratic-utilitarianism of the ethical altruists; it sees value only in the best, most interesting, differentiated, beautiful, brave, wise, & unique, not in the astronomically large quantity of sentient beings. Utilitarianism was an ethical system created by a society that was forced to optimize for population-level wellbeing by the labor demands of the industrial revolution. As services overtook manufacturing in the 1970s & 80s, & the U.S. postindustrialized, the population became racially mixed, fat, stupid, depressed, addicted, suicidal, nihilistic. Human biomass was now in oversupply & rotting on the vine. The supposedly coming AI revolution will likely accelerate this process. The quality & value of the generic human life that utilitarianism presupposes will continue to depreciate. Value & esteem will accrue to meaningfulness, novelty, distinction, individuality, etc. An ethics justifying those values will be articulated & it will accord with the moral instincts of the people living in that society; it will 'make sense' to them. & once more, perhaps, the most exceptional specimens of humanity will have free rein to enact their instincts, passions & ideas.

The greatest enemy of the Right is the the sclerotic right. Defeating the left is a strategic objective; mastering the inert right that holds movement back is a tactical necessity. To ally with it is to abandon the battleship and plunge into the mud, hoping to move faster.

Justus Lipsius with cesaro-jesuitist excellence and organization by an absolute power as thought by Bonald. Then Battista Alberti organization of cities and territory with local and federal provinces with appointed consuls. Écoles superieurs of politics for capable applicants.
What you are seeing on the right today is an attempt by some younger guys (e.g. Kaiser) at a Paleocon revival. They've read their Russell Kirk and M.E. Bradford. They mindlessly recite their platitudes, a catechism to ward off the threatening spirits. The problem is that Paleoconservatism was born out of a reaction of the "greatest generation" to the political-cultural victories of the left in the mid 20th century. The left set the frame for the Paleocons. They blindly fitted themselves into that frame by perfectly, as if choreographed by the left, inhabiting the role of the enemy, the crusty old bigot trying to drag the country down from the heights it would otherwise be capable of achieving. Paleoconservatism was born out of a loser mentality and will continue to appeal to people on the right with that disposition. The left is not threatened by the neo-Paleocons, in fact Paleoconservatism just serves as a perpetual source of legitimacy for them. Paleoconservatism is the non-threatening enemy the left needs to continue winning. It's what allows them to position themselves as the indispensable bulwark against the darkest forces from America's past. A fatal problem for Paleoconservatism. Because it was born out of pure weakness and reaction, its interpretation of the American Founding was fundamentally distorted. As Nietzsche points out, nothing truth-aligned can come from weakness. The weak cannot take an objective view of the matter because their self-understanding is grounded in resentment of the strong. The new right is in desperate need of openness to the possibility that the people who decide on the future of America will do so only to the extent they cultivate a freer relationship to the totality of reactionary right-wing thought that has its origin in 20th century fights with the ascendant left.
