Not sure we’ve ever seen something quite like what Louisville did in one offseason:
Kansas starter (former 5-star), Oregon starter (former 5-star), Arkansas starter (former 5-star), North Carolina starter (former top-30), Dayton starter (All-A10), Iowa sixth man (March hero).

“It was honestly one of the most difficult decisions I made in my life.”
For Peyton Siva, this wasn’t just another coaching opportunity.
After spending the last two seasons under Pat Kelsey, first as Louisville’s Director of Player Development and then as an assistant coach, Siva admitted leaving his alma mater was an emotional decision.
“It was honestly one of the most difficult decisions I made in my life, making the call to Coach [Pat] Kelsey, someone who gave me an opportunity in this coaching world. It was tough. It was tough not only to make that call, but make the call to leave Louisville. A couple of sleepless nights. But I think it was the right decision and the best decision for my family and myself.”
Siva now reunites with the coach who helped shape him into a Louisville legend as he joins Rick Pitino’s staff at St. John’s.
