A $5.5M seed on the idea that the next jump in AI coding comes from developers own sessions, not the labs.
Beacon turns past sessions into reusable skills that move across Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and 20+ other harnesses. Open source.
🤝 Paid partnership
We’re betting our $5.5M seed round that the next leap in AI coding won’t come from OpenAI or Anthropic.
It’ll come from a new feedback loop that learns from you.
Introducing Beacon: open-source, self-improving memory for coding agents.
Your sessions capture how you debug and solve problems. Today, that context gets lost and you have to re-explain things every time you switch tools.
Beacon continuously distills your sessions into reusable skills across Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and 20+ harnesses, so your next agent can learn from the last.
Beacon is free and OSS 🌟 github.com/Asymptote-Labs/ag…
Why should the frontier labs be the only ones winning with your sessions?
You already did the work. Now let your coding agents learn from you.

How many cars do other automakers need to sell to match Ferrari’s profit per vehicle?
In the first half of 2026, Ferrari generated €239,401 in profit per vehicle delivered, after deducting production costs, administrative expenses and selling expenses. Without a doubt, it is the most profitable automaker in the world.
By comparison, other automakers have to work extremely hard to match Ferrari’s profit per vehicle.
The three closest competitors are Jaguar Land Rover (around 10 vehicles), Porsche (around 25) and Tesla (around 41). While Jaguar Land Rover and Porsche benefit from premium pricing, Tesla’s impressive profitability is largely driven by its relentless focus on supply chain cost control and minimalist vehicle design.
Among Chinese automakers, BYD and Great Wall Motor (GWM) have already outperformed the industry average of around 102 vehicles per Ferrari-equivalent profit. Their performance even surpasses that of major automakers such as Renault, Volkswagen and Stellantis.
NIO (around 125 vehicles) is also performing well, with profitability ahead of a range of European, Japanese and South Korean automakers.
Here’s how other Chinese automakers compare:
XPeng: around 129 vehicles
Geely: around 144 vehicles
Chery: around 181 vehicles
Leapmotor: around 458 vehicles
Changan: around 517 vehicles
JAC Motors: around 721 vehicles
BAIC: around 1,034 vehicles
Li Auto: around 1,135 vehicles

the novel part is that this is not commodity hardware. it is renting out super computers, which is not something that was previously done, and has its own sets of complexities and costs.
The neocloud business model is the oldest and most time tested model in history. You buy assets, and you rent them out. Economics will normalize once supply and demand find equilibrium, but power constraints, accelerating compute demand, and existing shortage won't allow that to happen for some time imo. Cost of capital will come down over time with more supporting data. Just seems like a novel business rn, but its not.

Skyfall AI just unveiled SKY-001 claiming 3D CAD generation 100x faster and 150x cheaper than GPT Astra in its own tests
Another example of how specialized AI models could take over high-volume workloads that frontier models are too expensive to handle

Introducing SKY-001, the first Engineering World Model.
On CAD and BIM tasks, it beats GPT-6 Astra and every frontier model we tested:
-> 51-125x faster
- > 150-210x cheaper
-> Higher IOU than all frontier models
SKY-001 lets you dream a physical object before you build it.
18 months of work. Built by the team out of Maluuba's deep learning lab (acq. by @MSRResearch).
The first ‘AI General Engineer’ will be the backbone for Autonomous Manufacturing.

holy f*ck - the Grok Bot team just shipped 80 ready-to-install bots and most people still haven't noticed
you don't need to build a Grok Bot from scratch anymore
every one is built by the community
tested and backed by the Grok Bot team
sales bots, research agents, support desks
content bots, design bots, ops automation
all live in one marketplace
bots like these go for $50-200 on other platforms
here the whole marketplace is free
skip the prompt writing and the config files
pick one, install it
it runs a job someone spent weeks getting right
while others write their first agent from zero
you can run 80 that already work, for $0
the fastest way to get good at agents is to take apart one that works

Exact-duplicate search misses mirrored, cropped, or filtered copies of your images — different bytes, same picture - hubs.ly/Q04BlV5f0
That’s train/test leakage, wasted labeling spend, and licensing headaches waiting to happen.
Voxel51’s fix: combine two signals that fail in different places.
🔹 pHash — reads pixel layout, breaks on mirrors/crops
🔹 CLIP — reads meaning, fooled by look-alikes
🔹 A rule you control to combine them (“any” vs “all”)
🔹 Every link shown as a graph, with evidence
🔹 Scored against ground truth with native evaluation

This headset lets you walk through a room with your eyes closed and never hit a thing.
A raw circuit board strapped across a guy's face. Sensors, a speaker, a nest of wires held on by tape.
It reads what's in front of you. The closer an obstacle gets, the louder it beeps. A wall, a door, a person stepping into your path, all of it turned into sound.
This is built for blind and low-vision people. No cane, no guide dog, just a quiet beep that says stop before you hit it.

KUKA, the Augsburg robot maker owned by China's Midea Group since 2017, builds the orange arms you see welding and lifting on factory lines. Almost all of them are six-axis machines in which every joint has its own motor and gearbox, coordinated by one controller, with payloads from 3 kg to 1,300 kg. Its LBR iiwa cobot adds torque sensors in all seven joints, and KUKA's next step, which it calls Automation 2.0, aims to let AI work out a task from a goal.

Finally people get it. AI + prompt based gaming = Metaverse.
It is what @TimSweeneyEpic @ballmatthew and others have been saying for years.
Note that if you said AI was relevant and accelerant for the Metaverse, they'd say it was attaching a dead buzzword to the new one for street cred. But here we are- you cannot deny what your eyes see.
Very clear that the battle being waged for AI enabled gaming- especially prompts like what @DavidBaszucki is aiming for with Roblox- will lead to the exact vision of the Metaverse as put out in Ball's original essays:
-Massively Scaled
-Interoperable
-Real-time rendered
-3D virtual worlds
-Experienced Synchronously and Persistently
-By unlimited users
It's not a future that is coming, it's already here. Intentionally built and predicted accurately years back.
