I've only attended twice (15/19 in San Diego) but the Social Media Hub was a core experience. Not sure I'd be where I am if I hadn't met and followed a bunch of the OG twitter folks at the first one!
s/o @stilgar for recommending I go to the opening tweet up way back then!
Tom isn’t active on here anymore so I’ll repost this. This is a great post and 100% nails how this year felt vs years past socially.

Since @CiscoLive is back in San Diego (even if I'm not) I thought I'd throwback to my 2015 #ciscolive World of Solutions haul (so many shirts).
Note one of the OG #CLUS capes 👀

We're giving away ~$7,000 worth of gear (see below) this week to our newsletter subscribers.
Let's have some additional fun with that.
If this tweet gets at least 500 retweets today, I'll pick someone who retweets it (*and is also subscribed to our newsletter*) and send them a box of $500 worth of merch from any golf tournament they want this year.
The steps to win.
1. Retweet this.
2. Be subscribed to our newsletter at the time I pick your name (end of Tuesday).
Newsletter link in my bio.
Good luck.

I was supposed to be at the Masters today. Instead, due to a baffling mix of fraud and/or misunderstanding, I had my tickets cancelled and am currently banned from attending again. Here's my story - and a plea for help🧵

📸 What an incredible moment with our CWNE and CWISE community at #WLPC 2025! It’s always inspiring to see so many top wireless and IoT professionals in one place, sharing knowledge, expertise, and a passion for Wi-Fi.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the group photo—your dedication to advancing the wireless industry is what makes this community so special!

My request has come true! Thanks to @WiFiAggie and @TGIWiFiGuy for putting aside their differences and presenting together at #wlpc this year.
On a side note: did I accidentally manifest @Ventev and @AccelTex coming together under the same umbrella?? 🤔
Petition to get @WiFiAggie and @TGIWiFiGuy on stage for a combined @Ventev @AccelTex antenna nerd out session for the next #WLPC
Ready for this @MikeAtkins #wlpc talk on Stadium 6E! I still think occasionally about his talk on the Notre Dame stadium from 2018/19ish
We are 3 minutes into @MackenzieWiFi's #WLPC preso - Protocol Junkie - and I think it might already be a top 5 all timer.
Probably the best thing any #WLPC attendee will get this year in their Deep Dive kit - courtesy of @nickjvturner and @marko_with_a_k 😍😍
I birdied this hole.
No big deal #wlpc
The #WLPC open is in full swing ⛳️
