I like it, I prefer to go elsewhere for politics as I hate the banter. My for you is finally focused more on tech which feels like a reprieve from the craziness.

Anthropic just launched Claude Duet, a proactive AI agent that sends you a morning brief and works in the background. It's the fourth big personal agent in ten weeks, after Grok Bot, Muse, and Dots. What it does, who can get it, and what it costs: techgreg.com/anthropic-launc…

I agree, but I think it will be more difficult than they anticipate.

I could be wrong but I doubt takeover will happen any time soon.

Claude is introducing their version of an agent. Grokbot, Dots, Muse, and now Claude Duet. Need an Agent? Pick your flavor….
Claude

We’re opening a research preview of Claude Duet, a new app where Claude works as a proactive agent. It comes to you with what needs your attention, completes tasks you ask of it, keeps working when you step away, and checks with you before it acts on your behalf.

A quick example, I asked SIRI how to change tinted icons back to standard on iPadOS, I forgot where to find that option. It gave me a convoluted answer. I went to a frontier model and it guided me to the wallpaper setting right away. I was looking in the wrong place. Yes, its minor, but frustrating non the less.

I could care less if you use Grokbot. I agree, Siri AI is a significant improvement over basic Siri. However, it still fails at basic tasks and is very frustrating. There are occasions where I need to use an alternative AI to get answers to basic questions that SiriAI should be able to handle. I hope it improves, I want SiriAI to be great.

I use it every day. While it is superior to standard Siri,, it still fails on basic tasks. I recently asked about an iPhone setting where SiriAI couldn’t figure out the answer and ChatGPT could. Examples like that baffle me.

Siri is nothing short of an embarrassment for @Apple. It fails at the simplest of requests. Setting your action button to Grokbot is a better solution. I hope Apple gets it together as it could be really great if executed properly.

Grok Bot is now one step closer. Set it as your iPhone's Action Button and press it to talk with Bot.

That is certainly a possibility. Alternatively, if more people buy the car for FSD, the premium version becomes less important. Who cares about 0-60 if you let the car do most of the driving?

$753 billion in Robotaxi revenue would be $14 billion a week. No, I don’t think that is within the realm of possibilities.

That’s an insanely aggressive timeline that seems impossible. If you put $10k in ARKK 5 years ago, it would be worth $7k today. If you put the same amount into the S&P 500 over the same time period, it would be worth $17k.

There could simply be more demand for the base trims, which does not necessarily indicate a higher ASP.

Speed is diffusion's real pitch. One benchmark win isn't a path to superintelligence.

Everyone's timing launches around Anthropic now. Nobody wants to ship the week after.

Agreed , but that wasn’t what he was talking about.

As far as space frontier, that is true. Again, context, you have to listen to more than one sentence to understand the intended meaning.
