Pure rubbish! Do we have any serious opposition at all?
Politics should not be taken as a social media stunt. This was the reason I changed my mind to vote for TINUBU.
BREAKING: @aacparty Writes Tinubu, Demands Presidential Villa for Campaign Council Inauguration, Feeding and Logistics for 5,000 Supporters
The African Action Congress (AAC) has formally written to President Bola Tinubu, requesting permission to inaugurate its Presidential Campaign Council for its Presidential candidate @sowore at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, Abuja, on November 11, 2026.
In a letter dated October 21, 2026, and signed by its National Secretary, Oshiokhue Philip Ikpeminoghena, the party also demanded food, drinks, and logistical support for 5,000 participants from Nigeria and abroad.
The AAC said its request was based on the principles of multiparty democracy, political inclusiveness, and equal treatment, citing similar arrangements reportedly extended to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The party insisted that public institutions must serve all Nigerians without partisan discrimination and challenged the Tinubu administration to demonstrate its commitment to fairness and equal access. #AACOurParty #Sowore2027

Burkina Faso, Niger, Mali, resume talks with ECOWAS — 18 months after withdrawal
Burkina Faso, Niger Republic and Mali have resumed talks with the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), more than 18 months after the three countries withdrew from the regional bloc.
The two sides agreed on Saturday to establish joint working groups to develop a framework agreement for cooperation.
The three countries, led by military juntas withdrew from ECOWAS in January 2025 after forming the Alliance of Sahel States (AES), following a series of military coups and tensions with the regional bloc.

Nigeria media like propagating bad news, why?
Media houses should stop choking Nigerians with bad news
U.S. demand for Nigerian cocoa is booming. Cocoa bean exports to the United States jumped from $21.7 million in 2024 to $142 million in 2025.
Trade runs both ways. Wheat makes up 67% of U.S. agricultural exports to Nigeria, helping meet local demand for an important staple.
Fair, two-way trade that works for farmers, businesses, and families on both sides of the Atlantic.

Ondo State Elder Statesman And Afenifere Leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, Dies At 100
Sir, kindly listen to the replay. The message was clear
MY MESSAGE HAS BEEN TWISTED
Even though my media office has issued a responsible clarification on the situation, I still find it necessary to add my voice to address the distortion of my message by political opponents.
I deeply appreciate Nigerians in the diaspora who work tirelessly and make enormous sacrifices to support their families back home. Their remittances pay for school fees, hospital bills, rent, and feeding expenses. Their patriotism and sacrifices deserve our profound respect.
I never asked them to abandon their loved ones. My concern is that Nigeria should not remain a country where millions depend on relatives abroad for basic survival.
Our goal must be to build a nation that provides jobs, affordable healthcare, quality education, and economic opportunities for its citizens.
Political opponents may twist my message, but the truth remains clear: I am not asking Nigerians abroad to abandon their families. I am advocating for a Nigeria that will no longer abandon its own people.
God bless Nigerians at home and abroad. God bless Nigeria. -PO

I take exception to that nonsense. Don't you dare say that about me. Reward who? Reward who? That's a civil servant. She's a level 17 officer and has worked in INEC all of her life. She was Lagos State admin secretary – didn't Peter Obi win there in 2023?
