#Remembrance I've bought my Poppy Pin. I'll get a few more for different jackets in the next few days. I wear two pins- the Poppy & miniature French parachute wings from my French Para Course in 1988. Proud of both. No need to weaponise my patriotism.

On July 3,2024 I had my knees replaced. Last week, I had my left hip replaced & 4 inches of metal put in to.my femur. Today, I left critical care. I'm beginning to see some light at the end of the tunnel

This is an absolute delight to listen to, and worth 5 minutes of anyone's time. A 94-year-old Clacton resident schools Reform UK Cllr Justin Jay out canvassing for Farage. Jay is not the brightest, claiming Farage is paying the £250k election costs, which of course is a lie.

My great grandfather. A pre war regular, served at Mons , the Somme wounded & gassed at Passchendale. Became a pacifist in WW2. His medals, paybook from his enlistment in 1910, & desk he made as a 14 year old. All precious to me #somme110

His eldest son, my grandad, married my grandma, the daughter of a German Jewish WW1 Veteran in 1938 who escaped to Britain. Both Great Grandads served as ambulance volunteers in WW2 - they'd seen their share of war & both lost their wives in the Spanish Flu of 1919

My dad. With me on a beach in 1970, and with my sister in the garden of our family home in 1983. She died in 2010, dad in 2019. I miss them both, but seeing Father's Day posts made it tougher.

Loyalists now attacking the homes of vulnerable minorities who had nothing to do with last night's horror. This should come as no surprise as they regularly do this to Catholics in mixed areas. The nationalist people in the six counties should have nothing to do with this mob.

I've been called a "-traitor" because I don't agree with Reform/Restore. I served both Labour & Tory governments. Went to countries where I didn't speak their language for a variety of reasons. Then worked in the public legal system for decades. Shot, blown up, stabbed.
