Well, I’ll be out of commission for a minute with a torn pec while grappling. MRI on Monday. Hopefully I won’t be out to long and don’t need surgery. For now, ice ice 🧊 baby and have a positive attitude. Sh-t happens and it’s what we do to respond when stuff like this happens.👊🏽 – at Downey, CA
Surgery, and a biopsy, tomorrow morning.
Perspective is everything, so I'm actually very upbeat.🔥

Sub-adult Maple is pinging off of Cherry Hill, Nova Scotia. Just like we saw in 2019 with Vimy - Maple has what appear to be wounds from an interaction with a larger shark - possibly an example of dominance behavior! She measures in at 11 ft 1,264 lbs (3.35 m 573 kg) 😘🦈💥

Permit yourself to feel how you feel!
So much of our physical and mental problems come from our inability to process our emotions. We deny, medicate, eat, drink when we're feeling sad, angry and fearful. We bury our feelings, instead of understanding why we're hurting.

Don’t judge or berate yourself for how long your journey is taking. We all need our own time to travel our own distance. It’s not too late. You aren’t behind. — You are exactly where you need to be. Every step is necessary.

Today remember that the inner peace you're seeking is not the absence of pain or suffering. But the retreat from overthinking - dwelling on things past, catastrophizing the future and trying to make the present something that it isn't.

Today we met #whiteshark Maple. She had a distinctive wound on the left side of her body & after initial assessment our science team believes it was likely due to a recent interaction with another larger, white shark. This interaction was possibly an example of dominance behavior
