Trying to do the leaf discs practical - testing for year 13 to try - but doesn’t seem to be working. Trying with spinach today - get as far as removing the air but then nothing happens! Any ideas? @chatbiology @SAPS_News ???

Immobilising yeast for enzyme practical with year 12! The cries of ‘that’s so amazing’ and ‘mine are so spherical, they are beautiful’ echoing around the lab 😁
Any ideas please? We are doing algal balls and photosynthesis w y13 however they are getting results that are getting more acidic w increasing light intensity rather than less acidic! @chatbiology #chatbiology @SAPS_News @RoyalSocBio
