The PHP project has released fixes for 2 critical vulnerabilities affecting servers that host PHP applications. Site owners and technical teams should confirm their hosting provider’s update plan and update PHP immediately. Versions before PHP 8.2 no longer receive security updates. Not just PHP. Node.js has also announced security releases for October 21, with HIGH-severity vulnerabilities affecting its 26.x, 24.x and 22.x release lines.
If you run either stack in production, keep an eye on official advisories and apply patches promptly.
Security maintenance doesn't stop at your application code. Your runtime matters too.

Wow... This is a load of bull. "May have" and "temporary" is pretty shitty wording here, guys. DID and sure it is indeed temporary but it's about 10 hours of disruption* on your app.
You need to do better.

Hey @grok, what are the alternatives to Revolut that work in Europe primarily?
The sushi place plays a Shakira song on repeat. No one cares, all have AirPods or are drunkards. I feel out of place.
Not doing an email blast to its bank customers after funds being inaccessible for over 4 hours is just bad, @Revolut. Technical problems can hit any service, but not being open about it and leaving people in a fix is all on you.
How will you regain that trust, I wonder?

Multiple banks (Lloyds, Revolut, Bank of Scotland and HSBC) are down for some users.
This looks like a Google Cloud issue.
Importantly, your money in Revolut will be safe - this clearly isn't a hack on them and the issue lies with a third party.
