Journalist Noah Adams, who hosted NPR's "All Things Considered" for nearly two decades, has died. He was 84.
To millions of radio listeners, Adams was a steady, reassuring voice guiding Americans through historic moments from the fall of the Berlin Wall to the Sept. 11 attacks.
But Adams also had a gift for telling quieter, more personal stories, capturing the lives and experiences of everyday Americans.
He wrote five books, exploring subjects from the Wright brothers to his own experience learning how to play the piano in his 50s.
Adams' wife said he died at their home in Ohio on Friday.

This is fascinating. Hockey has a one-man pit crew in case a player breaks a stick. Ngl, having this job would stress me out. 😭

Sean Hayes is a true virtuoso 🤩🎹 The actor, comedian and 'Will & Grace' star, 56, left everyone in awe as he performed 'Rhapsody in Blue' at 'SmartLess Live!' at the Hollywood Bowl, receiving wild applause from the audience and fellow hosts Jason Bateman and Will Arnett. "A dream fulfilled," he wrote. "Thanks to two of my besties - Jason & Will - for indulging me." 🎶✨

This might be the funniest commercial I've seen in a very long time. Its for the jewelry section of JC Penny's and it is priceless. They really sunk some money into it. I guess they do good sales there. I know that im buying my very special lady's ring at a better known jewelry store than JC's 🤣🤣🤣💍

Kinda wild that there have been wild protests going on in Albania for months set off by a corrupt Kushner luxury resort project and there has been barely coverage of it here 🇺🇸 and Trump never gets asked about it. (H/T @ProudSocialist)

A key component of Ukraine’s communications network was partially disabled, perhaps by its ally, the United States.
The Starshield satellite network, funded by the Pentagon and operated by Elon Musk's SpaceX, was not operating at full capacity, hampering communications within the Ukrainian military.

When I first released Reconcile, some people were upset that we used some AI in the cover. So, we reached out to Georgia artist Katie Daker, and she recreated it in oil on canvas. That’s right, a human replaced AI. Enjoy!

The funds would come from recapture, which is money property-rich school districts give back to the state to be distributed to poorer schools.

This is, after all, Trump's lawsuit against BBC. He's free to dismiss it if he doesn't want to proceed. But discovery deadlines in civil cases are a real thing and backing out on a deposition just because he doesn't want to do it before the midterms is very unlikely to fly with a judge. This one is getting interesting fast!
New: According to a new filing on the docket, President Trump was scheduled to be deposed by lawyers for the BBC THIS FRIDAY.
But then after a period of radio silence, Trump's team told the BBC that he is no longer available on that date "due to other matters of national importance."
Trump's team proposed the second or third week of January 2027, a month after discovery for the case closes.
The BBC is asking the judge "to compel Plaintiff to confirm a date for his deposition, notify the BBC of a secure location where such deposition is possible and any other logistics required to ensure Plaintiff’s safety, and sit for the deposition, as the core rules of discovery require."
