Ask questions about the team goals/desires…add value consistently in a way that serves the team…these two paired display empathy and create trust. The listen and lead approach creates the must have connection ingredient of leadership. #leadership
A leader that’s always busy isn’t helpful to the team. Schedule time to be available. Don’t offer them to come to you…go to them. Lead with what initiation and connection looks like. #Leadership

You don’t need to be an expert to lead. Only letting NBA stars teach middle school kids to play instead of letting high schoolers do it would bottleneck society. You don’t need another book or course. You are enough as is in whatever you lead. You’re desperately needed today. Go.
The best leaders…Lead & Listen. Gather information, gather perspectives, balance variables, suggest a course, align with the team, work to get everyone on board then lead forward knowing you all did “Debate, Align, Commit” as a team.#leadership

Being a leader doesn’t mean you know more. It actually means you know the least. If you aim to know the most…your team is capped and doesn’t scale. A leader knows people science very well and then the people on the team know infinite specific knowledge. #leadership

My goal at the highest level is very simple: Impact 3 billion people worldwide. Leadership is a massive component…whether it’s leadership of 1 or 1 billion. Let’s start small and then go big.
